For example, I run the app in record mode on a tablet hung on a wall so it acts as a recorder and display. With the built-in web server, I can remotely access the app to change settings and even view feeds. With access to feeds, you can use the app as a transcoder for all devices it supports by fetching from the web server and uploading to your website. There is even a driver (“IP Cam Viewer Server”) to view app’s video feeds from another mobile device.

FAQs

What is the difference between the Lite version and the paid Pro version?

The Pro version has NO ads and has all functionality unlocked. The Lite version is free to download but has limited functionality and is ad supported with an optional in-app upgrade. Once upgraded, the Lite version has no ads and works exactly like the Pro version (no need to download pro version).

Pro/Upgraded features include audio for some devices, unlimited cameras, no ads, record mode, and more.

To install again without paying on new devices, log into the App Store with the original purchase iTunes account and then download app. For Lite version, run app and then click Upgrade Now and Restore Purchase.

I can’t connect to my camera, is it supported? 

Try the “Scan Camera” feature to automatically find compatible drivers in my app. If no match is found, then contact me with temporary remote access and I’ll try to connect/integrate. Also see the list devices supported.

Is my information safe?

This application connects directly to your camera, DVRs, NVR, or Video Server. It does not use any intermediate servers to collect or share your information. All settings are stored on your Android device. In addition, this app supports HTTPS encryption of network traffic.

To delete your information, either delete individual camera settings in the app or uninstall the entire app. Again, all information is stored on your local Android device (in app’s OS database or files).

If the app is un-upgraded and thus serving ADs, then the app will use AD Network SDK(s) which may transmit your advertising identifier (if available) to serve personalized ADs. If the app is Upgraded (or the PRO version, which has no ad code), then no ads are served (so no AD Network SDKs are initialized/used).

Video is delayed or audio stutters?

The video can be delayed if the camera is sending more data than the network or android device can handle (thus queuing up tons of stale footage to process/render on mobile device). If audio stutters, the network may be the bottleneck. In both cases, first try lowering the frame rate (<5 fps for mobile) and lowering resolution in the camera's settings. Some cameras allow multiple streams.
