IPSY - Beauty & makeup subscription

I really like the subscription because I'm just starting to get into makeup. But I think the app could be improved. It would be great to have more information about the products. I also wish there was a brief description of what is included in categories like "dewy duo" without having to click on it to know it's a moisturizer and serum. This way, shopping would be easier and I might end up purchasing more items.

So, the app is really slow and has a lot of issues. My other apps work fine, so this must be a problem with Ipsy. Even though it's cool to get makeup or self-care stuff every month, some of the things I receive are not what I would choose for myself. When you first join, there's a quiz about your looks and makeup likes. The quiz seems good at figuring out what you like. However, I've gotten at least one thing that's totally different from what I said I liked.

I've been using the app and it has been good. No problems so far. I'm writing a review about the app, but I also want to talk about ipsy. I really like ipsy, but it would be better if they shipped everything in a box. Two highlighters came broken - turned into chunks and powder. They earn a lot from us and could invest a bit more in shipping boxes instead of pink/purple envelopes. Besides that, I enjoy all the products I receive. It feels like having Christmas every month!

I remember when I signed up for Ipsy, it felt exciting and new. The products were amazing! But now, it seems like the prices have gone up a lot without much warning. I hardly even notice the updates in my inbox because my email is so cluttered. And it's not just the cost that's changed, sometimes the products smell off. It's starting to feel like it's not worth it anymore.

I've been a loyal "Ipster" for nearly four years, and I still love getting my monthly boxes! It's amazing - just $30 each month for products worth over a hundred bucks in total. The variety is fantastic, with different brands every time. Plus, you can adjust your preferences to receive more of what you like and less of what you don't. It's great having the freedom to choose. I'm still thrilled to be an Ipster member!

Oh, I really love using ipsy! But truth be told, I'm a bit scatterbrained and not the most organized person. It would be absolutely fantastic if the app could alert me about any products that have expired or are close to expiring, so I know exactly when to use them up. With all the bags and products I've collected over the years, I just can't keep track of what's what and when I received them. It would definitely make a huge difference to have a feature like this, or even get reminder emails. Also, it would be great if there was a way to manage both the bag and the products in one place because things can get quite confusing sometimes. Thank you!

The app is quite problematic - it freezes often and bombards you with pop-up ads. Sometimes, updates won't even download properly, which is frustrating. On the positive side, the company itself isn't too bad. They provide a fun surprise every month. However, the subscription price keeps increasing from ten dollars to around fourteen. They also flood your inbox with emails offering deals, trying to persuade you into signing up for things you don't need, which I find deceptive. Nevertheless, their customer service is top-notch. I've never had any problems dealing with them; they are always very helpful.
