The Jackal Squad, an elite group of soldiers trained to survive in any environment, embarks on a mission to drive the armed jeep into hostile territory to save and extract POWs.

The game commences with a transport helicopter dropping the Jeep along the enemy coast. The primary objective is to penetrate the enemy's main headquarters and destroy their ultimate weapon. As the gunner, players navigate through various internment camps to rescue POWs. Rescuing prisoners from solitary camps upgrades the jeep's grenade/missile launcher by one level. When the jeep is full, players must drive to the nearest heliport for extraction by a waiting chopper. Extra points are awarded for extracting prisoners consecutively. If players successfully extract the target number of prisoners in a row, the jeep's missile launcher will upgrade to the next level. The gameplay involves navigating through different terrains like ancient ruins, lakes, hills, and mountains before reaching the enemy base.

The Jeep can crush foot soldiers but will be destroyed if hit by a projectile or enemy vehicle. Players can receive a replacement jeep upon destruction. The game concludes upon mission completion or depletion of replacement jeeps, with a progress map displayed on the game over screen.
