Problems During Registration

Registration stopped midway

You can continue your registration process within 14 days as long as you do it on the same device. Reinstalling the Jago app or registering on a different device will restart the registration process.

Registration always fails

Tips if registration always fails

Here are things you should follow during your registration process.

    1. Type your email with lowercase (35 characters max.)

    2. Type your phone number manually (don't use copy-paste) and avoid space.

    3. If you didn't receive OTP, make sure your phone date and time are on auto-sync.

    4. Your ID Card photo can't be cut.

    5. Don't press the button on the app repeatedly. Please push once and let the app work, because it might trigger an unwanted error.

I didn't receive a verification code (OTP)

You can send a new verification code by pressing "Resend Code". If you have requested a new code 3 times in a row, please wait for 5 minutes before requesting more, or contact us at 1500 746 for assistance.

I didn't have e-KTP/NPWP

According to the rules, you can't create a Jago account if you haven't got your e-KTP. For NPWP, you didn't have to inform it during registration. However, Jago will still ask for your NPWP after your account is activated.

1. Is Bank Jago safe?

2. How do I share my e-KTP?

Once you click 'Take e-KTP Picture', your camera will open and you will see a white outline of where to place your e-KTP to take the photo.

3. Some tips to take successful e-KTP photo

Place the e-KTP on a flat, plain surface (suggest to place it on a plain-colored table or cloth, or on a white piece of paper)

Ensure good lighting, however position the camera so there is no glare on the e-KTP.

Have your physical e-KTP ready to show the call agent

Ensure you have stable Wi-Fi or strong network signal

Take off any mask or hat, and ensure you are in good lighting and ready to speak with the agent (if you are not ready, you may also select 'create schedule' to schedule a more convenient time)

Enable browser mic and camera (click 'YES' to any prompt from your phone browser to enable microphone and camera), and turn up the volume on your device so you can hear the agent

Please do not leave the screen that pops up for the video call and ensure your screen does not close or go to sleep. This process will only take 30 seconds. If you leave the screen to another browser window or app, this may cancel the call and you may need to try again.
