Get the ultimate local experience with Japan Travel by NAVITIME! The most used app by locals and tourists in Japan. When I travel in Japan, using the English version of the search tool is helpful. However, when I compare it with my Japanese friend's experience, I notice that the search results in English are not as good as the ones in Japanese. The English version usually doesn't show the best routes that the Japanese version does.

The apps are good, but I noticed a few drawbacks. Firstly, when shortening the length of a trip, the app only trims the final days of your itinerary. This means that if you adjust the duration, all the existing plans will just shift to occur later. There isn't an option to cut short the initial days so your already set plans stay on their original dates. Secondly, there is no function to easily move all your daily plans to a different date.

The app is good for subway and train trips, but the pedestrian walk GPS is really bad. It shows a map that doesn't move or a map that moves but doesn't give you directions. They should just use Google Maps to make things easier. Also, you have to pay every month for the app to work, which is annoying.

Oh, this app is so great! It's super useful because it finds the quickest routes from where you are using your GPS. You don't have to search for routes from different stations anymore. I have a small request though: could there be an option to always start off facing north when you open the app? Just a little suggestion.

The app is really helpful once you get the hang of it. But sometimes it's unclear if you can use the train pass for certain routes. It would be great if the app could tell you how much a train trip costs and if your pass works for that trip.

Dark mode sounds great, but the user interface is really tricky to navigate. It's frustrating that you can't go back to the previous page you were on. Also, the location and distance information seems way off - like saying Yufuin Kirin Lake is 33km from Tenso Shrine when they're actually close by. Adding Points of Interest to the Planner is also tough and not very straightforward.

An app was really helpful for us on our trips to Japan. It worked well and was easy to use.

This place is reliable, just double-check the platform number. I wish they would take out the taxi option because it's not needed. It would be great if they could add a dot to show your current position on the diagram.

I found this really helpful while in Japan. The English version was perfect for planning trips, keeping track of any disasters, and getting tourism information. Good job!
