A mobile application that allows you to rent an electric scooter. Renting a vehicle is extremely easy, thanks to the new user-friendly interface of the service. It doesn't require any additional costs, such as purchasing additional accounts or the time of the company representative. The application is completely free to use. You just need to make a reservation and complete the rental.

Kicksharing, bike sharing... What is it and how does it work?

Call it what you will – indeed, the JET service is a stationless electric scooter rental.

To initiate a vehicle rental, there is no necessity to visit a pick-up point, interact with a staff member, or provide a deposit such as a passport or a specific amount of money.

How it works:

1.Download the app

The JET app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

2.Sign up and link a card

You only need a phone number and a "Standart" class bank card or higher.

3.Scan the QR and start your ride

The QR is located on the handlebars of the scooter to start the ride and follow the instructions on the screen.

4.Complete the rental at the parking

Hundreds of parking lots are available throughout the city. Park the scooter on one of them.

The essential steps for renting are:

- Download the application and sign up for the service. Just a phone number is required, registration takes only 2-3 minutes.

- Locate the electric scooter on the map or at the nearest parking lot.

- Scan the QR code on the steering wheel using the built-in app function.

Which cities offer the service?

The service is accessible in Kazakhstan (Almaty), Georgia (Batumi and Tbilisi), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), and Mongolia (Ulan-Bator).

You can rent a scooter in any of these cities through the JET app. The rental regulations may vary across different cities, hence we suggest acquainting yourself with them prior to renting. Nevertheless, if you have used analogous rental services like Urent, Whoosh, VOI, Bird, Lime, Bolt, or others, the rental process will be quite similar.

Rent multiple electric scooters for your entire family with just one JET account. Up to 5 scooters can be rented using a single account. Simply unlock several scooters consecutively by scanning their respective QR codes.

WAITING AND RESERVATION

Our app boasts a waiting and booking feature. You can reserve an electric scooter via the app, which will be held for you free of charge for 10 minutes. Throughout the rental period, you can lock the scooter and put it in "standby" mode, allowing the rental to continue while the scooter remains secure. Proceed with your tasks without concern for the scooter's safety.

BONUS ZONES

Complete your rental within a designated green area and receive bonuses. To receive bonuses, ensure the rental duration exceeds 10 minutes.

Running low on battery for your phone or laptop? Browse the app map to locate a powerbank station and rent it. Scan the station's QR code to proceed. Enjoy charging convenience with built-in cables comprising Type-C, micro-USB, and Lightning for iPhone. The charger can be returned to any station.

    The app crashes a lot and shows errors. When I try to contact support, they take forever to reply and don't really help with my issues. Plus, the scooters often have problems with their brakes, connecting to the server, and they're not in great shape overall.

    Renting the scooter was easy, but when it came time to park it, I had trouble finding a spot. The designated drop-off locations were inconvenient and limited. I tried to park it next to other scooters, but couldn't. It took an extra 10 minutes and two scooters just to find parking. This experience felt like a scam.

    Jet decided to slow down their speed by 14km/h compared to other competitors, even though the legal limit is 20km/h. Another issue is the unclear parking spaces - you have to click on them to see where they end. The scooters are poorly designed too - they are narrow in the front, making it uncomfortable to ride. The steering is stiff and the speed limit causes abrupt stops. Despite having suspension, it feels as sturdy as a wooden deck. The app is also problematic, making it difficult to complete a ride seamlessly. My advice? Stay away from this one!

    So, the mobile app definitely needs some work. When I try to stop the scooter at the parking zone, it just doesn't work. Plus, it randomly logs me out and then won't let me log back in. It's frustrating - especially during a rental - and I end up wasting money for no good reason. The app also lags a lot, making it difficult to use. I really enjoy the rides but these issues with the app are causing me a lot of trouble. Hopefully they can fix it soon and make some upgrades.

    Using these scooters is a great idea, but I often run into problems with the app not opening quickly or showing a stop icon. This leads to wasted money as I have to restart the app multiple times. I hope they make some improvements to fix these issues soon.

    Oh no, I had a really bad time using your app. That's why I'm only giving you one star. My ride was supposed to be just around 1 minute long, but I ended up getting stuck for several minutes because of the parking. The frustrating part is that I was actually in the right parking zone, but for some reason the app wouldn't let me finish my ride.

    I had a terrible experience today. The parking situation was a complete scam. I couldn't park near my home, so they made me go elsewhere. On the way there, a car almost hit me because the road was dangerous. I would never have chosen to drive there. And to top it off, I was charged way more than I expected. In the end, I had to walk home anyway. It's clear that they cared more about making money than my safety. It was the worst experience ever.
