FAQ

Why does the price sometimes change when I am redirected to a flight provider?

Jetcost is a search engine, so we do not set prices ourselves. Flight prices and availability are constantly changing, based on information provided by the travel service provider. However, we ensure that the data is updated regularly to take this into account.

We do everything possible to ensure that the information you see on Jetcost is accurate and up to date, but very occasionally there may be reasons why the price is not updated on the site due to the availability and required update time.

As a travel search engine, we do not advertise prices ourselves, but display them on behalf of travel suppliers. Jetcost has no influence on prices: we are only able to display prices and availability that travel suppliers send to us for display. When we transfer you to the partner's website to complete your booking, all flight details, including prices, will be updated and displayed. The final price you pay for your tickets may change due to additional options offered by the supplier, such as baggage, seats or travel insurance.

Is the price indicated on Jetcost guaranteed?

As we do not set prices ourselves, it is not possible for us to guarantee the final prices charged by airlines and travel agencies. We do everything possible to ensure that the information you see on Jetcost is accurate and up to date, but prices can change frequently as can flight availability. Very rarely, there may also be technical reasons why the price is not accurately represented.

Can I book in my currency?

Some airlines and travel agency websites may not offer the ability to book their products in your preferred currency. However, if these products are displayed on Jetcost, you should be able to book in the currency of your choice. Please note that if this is not possible, the exchange rate will be set by your bank or credit card company.

Please contact your bank if you would like to know more about the type of exchange rate you would have to pay.

Issues after being redirected to partner

If you encounter a problem with your booking, we recommend that you contact the flight provider you are booking with. Jetcost does not have access to airline and travel agency reservation systems or websites.

Website is not working

Sometimes website issues can be caused by browser-related issues. These problems can often be resolved by clearing your browser cache and cookies. Occasionally, we may have a technical problem to resolve and the website may not function properly.

 Application issues

90% of app issues can be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. We recommend you try first, please contact us if you still have problems.

 I was blocked

In order to avoid adverse effects on the Jetcost website, we use a solution that verifies that you use the website in a normal way.

Occasionally, this may mean that a genuine user may be wrongly blocked. This could be for a number of potential reasons, including but not limited to if:

• You're using a VPN that we've had to block due to excessive bot traffic in the past;

• You use our website at super speeds that exceed our rate limits;

• You have a plug-in on your browser that may interfere with the way our website interacts with you as a user;

• You are using an automated browser;

If you have been blocked during normal use, please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If this does not work, please contact us.

Missing carrier, airport, route or travel provider

We update our database daily, but it may happen that you cannot find an airline, airport, route or travel provider on Jetcost. This may mean that the missing airline, airport, route or travel provider is not available on our sites or that we have yet to insert it into our database.

Search for direct flights

If you only want to search for direct flights, you can filter your search results by clicking on the "One Way" tab on our search form. Inside your results page, you will have the choice to filter for a direct flight only by checking the "Direct" option in the top left column named "Stops".

Group reservations

On Jetcost you can search for the best flights for your group of up to 9 adult passengers.

For more passengers, the airline or travel agent may ask you to book by telephone or through a special section of its website. This is because airlines may have preferential group rates and separate terms and conditions.

To find out more, we recommend searching Jetcost to identify airlines and travel agents selling your chosen itinerary, then contacting the supplier directly before booking to check their policy .

Fares for children/young children and children traveling alone

- Families traveling: Prices for children and infants

Some airlines may offer discounted airfares for children and/or infants. To help you get the most accurate flight prices and help you rest easy, we always ask if you plan to travel with children and/or infants.

- Understand the prices we display

Once you enter the number of passengers, we display our flight search results to show the total price (given to us by the airline or travel agent).

We don't have the individual prices that make up this total but, to help you compare flights, we show the average price per person. This is the total group price, divided by the number of passengers - including children and infants.

If ticket prices are cheaper for children or babies traveling, you can rest assured that we have already factored these discounts into the total price.

Once you have selected a flight, we will usually redirect you to the airline or travel agent's website where you can see the ticket price details for all travelers. We recommend that you check this information carefully before booking. However, the total price for all passengers must match the total price quoted to you on Jetcost.

- Rates for minors traveling alone

Some airlines have different rules and prices for individuals under 18 years old who travel alone. We recommend checking this information with the airline or travel agency of your choice before booking.

How can I change the language?

Jetcost is available in 15 languages.

On our website on a computer, you can change the language by clicking on the flag in the menu at the top right of the screen and selecting the country of your choice from the drop-down list.

To change the language on our website on mobile, tap the flag at the top right of the screen and choose your preferred country from the drop-down list.

To do this, tap the gear icon at the bottom left of the screen and select "Choose your country".
