IMPORTANT

To utilize the app's cloud functionalities, registration with a MediBang account is essential.

User Guide

※Before initiating the brush settings, please save your file with the Brush data (in mdp format) to the Files app in your Android.

１．Tap「My Gallery」.

２．Inside the Local Saves tab, tap「＋」on the top right and choose「Import MDP」.

３．Once the Files app opens, choose the file with the Brush data (mdp) you want to use.

４．The file for your Brush data gets added to the Local Saves tab.

５．Open a new canvas and tap「＋」inside the Brush Menu.

６．Inside the「Standard」tab, confirm the brush type written in「○○○_Parameters.png」and choose from Bitmap・Bitmap Watercolor・Scatter・Scatter Watercolor.

７．Choose「Select File」.

８．The Brushes you have added to your My Gallery will appear in a list, choose the one you want to use.

９．Once the dialogue of the brush details pops up, adjust and enter the numbers of each parameter accordingly to the「○○○_Parameters.png」file that is packed together inside the resources folder made when you purchased the brush. Tap「Set」and you can start using the brush.

As the brushes and brush samples are copyright free, you can use them inside any work created for commercial use, doujin, or adult content.

However, wedo not allow redistribution of the Brush data itself.

FAQs

My app is laggy and slow!

While MediBang Paint is a lightweight software, there are still certain circumstances under which it will slow down.

If you use a large size for your canvas, have many layers on your file, use a high Correction setting for your brushwork, or do not have enough storage space on your device, sometimes the app will lag.

Putting a heavy load on your device can sometimes cause the application to crash. Please keep this in mind while working. 

I can’t access Google Drive directly from the app.

Due to Google’s recent policy change, access to Google Drive from third-party applications has been blocked.

We are working to resolve this issue, but cannot say for certain when there will be a fix available.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I can’t log in to the application.

There are 2 possible causes as to why you can’t log in. 

    You entered an incorrect password

Please check that you have entered your password correctly and without case errors. If the problem still persists, try resetting your password.

Enter the email registered to your MediBang account, fill out the Captcha, and click the Send button. An email with the URL to the password reset page will be sent to the email address you entered.Visit the link and you can enter a new password to use with your account.

    You entered an incorrect email address

Please check that the email address you entered as the login is correct and without any capitalization errors. For example, if the email address you used to register is “xxxxx@xxxxxx”, you won’t be able to receive the email if you enter it as “Xxxxx@xxxxxx”
