Each permission is divided into mandatory permissions that must be allowed according to their properties and optional permissions that can be allowed optionally.

1) Location: Access is required for navigation, beehive screen layout, nearby search, and widgets.

2) Storage space: Access is required for storing map data and resources.

3) Phone: Access is required for muting navigation when making phone calls while driving.

2.Optional access permissions

1) Microphone: Access is required for Kakao i voice recognition feature, black box voice recording.

2) Camera: Access is required for black box functions, beehive screen decoration, and QR code recognition for electric vehicle charging.

3) Display over other apps: Access is required when using the navigation widget.

4) Contacts: Access is required for making phone calls via voice recognition.

5) Physical activity: Access is required to improve location and navigation accuracy.

6) Nearby devices: Access is required for indoor parking lot guidance.

※ Even if you do not agree to allow optional access permissions, you can still use the service.

※ KakaoNavi access permissions are implemented with essential and optional permissions for adaptation with Android OS 6.0 and above.

If you are using an OS version lower than 6.0, you may not be able to selectively allow permissions as necessary, so check if the manufacturer of your device provides OS upgrade function and if possible, it is recommended to upgrade the OS to 6.0 or higher. Also, even if the operating system is updated, agreed-upon access permissions do not change in existing apps, so to reset access permissions, you need to delete and reinstall the installed app.
