KakaoTalk - Messaging & calling app

This app is easy to use and has some nice features. However, it's so frustrating that I can't make it always open links in an external browser automatically. It feels like a huge oversight by the developers. I never want to open links within the app, and having to constantly switch to a browser is annoying. It's a distraction and doesn't work well with my disability.

So, I've been using this thing for more than two years now, and if I have to mention a single issue, it's gotta be the struggle with saving messages. It's been quite annoying trying to navigate through the user experience on that. But let me tell you, the best change I've noticed was when they got rid of that poking feature. Oh man, that was the worst idea ever! My brothers would endlessly poke everyone in the family, and the next day I'd wake up to at least 340 notifications. Removing the poke feature? That was hands down the best decision they made for this app. Sending love to all of you!

I really enjoy using this app because it allows me to make video calls and voice calls. The voice recording feature comes in handy when I want to talk to someone without typing. It was so useful when I couldn't meet my friends in person, as we could stay connected virtually. Plus, I absolutely adore the variety of cute emojis, the option to share photos from the camera, and being able to listen to music while using the app.

I can't send messages on KakaoTalk because of their privacy policy. I haven't been hacked, and I didn't try to send too many messages at once. Honestly, I'm not sure what the problem is. I only use this app to try to talk to my cousin in South Korea.

I really like this app because you can make your profile and the app look exactly how you want. One thing I wish they had though, is the option to use my phone's default ringtone. I like changing my ringtone every now and then, and it's a bit of a hassle to have to remember to change it on KaTalk too. Overall though, it's a great app!

I really like this messaging app and I've been using it for a long time. It has so many cute and handy features that I enjoy. If only the call quality was better, I would have given it a perfect 5-star rating. When I was in Korea, the call quality was great, but once I left the country, calls would frequently disconnect for no obvious reason. Even if both parties had a strong WiFi connection, the issue still persisted. Other messaging apps perform better in this aspect even with slower internet speeds.
