Getting started with Kaspersky Safe Kids is simple:

1.Install the app on your mobile device in parent mode to view reports and customize settings.

2.Install the app on your child's device in child mode to apply protection rules.

3.Sign in to My Kaspersky during installation to adjust settings and access detailed reports. Please use a single My Kaspersky account for all Kaspersky Safe Kids installations.

It is recommended to activate the Global Positioning System (GPS) on your child's device for accurate location tracking; note that GPS usage may drain battery life.

The app requires Device Administrator permission and uses Accessibility services to block children's access to restricted websites.

Track your child’s location

The GPS tracking feature helps you monitor your child's location and ensure they don’t venture away from pre-agreed “safe areas”. Here’s how to use it on the Kaspersky Safe Kids app:

- Choose safe areas

On the main window, choose your preferred safe areas by clicking on the interactive map.

- Set schedule

Confirm your child’s safe areas and establish a schedule that applies to them.

- Monitor your child

Monitor your child's location and receive notifications if they leave the safe area.

Know their interests

The app helps you stay on top of what your child is interested in and what kind of content they’re accessing online. Here's how it works:

- Find apps usage

Click the 'apps usage' button on the main screen while in Parental mode.

- View reports

Click on 'web activities' within the main screen.

- See YouTube history

Get the My Kaspersky report to see their YouTube search and watch history

How your subscription works

Prices

When you subscribe, you pay the introductory price for your first term. The introductory price is indicated on your offer page, in the shopping cart, and in your email receipt, along with other offer details, such as:

- Number of devices

- Duration of the first term and subsequent terms

- Renewal price for the next and following terms

Renewal price may differ from the introductory price and is subject to change. We will notify you of the renewal price for your subscription via email prior to the renewal date.

Please note, discounts and offers may be available at the time of your next renewal that are not applicable to you.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew each term until you cancel it. To ensure uninterrupted protection, we will attempt to charge your payment method 15 days before your subscription ends. We will notify you about your upcoming auto-renewal via email.

How to cancel

You can cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription at any time.

If you cancel, you will have full protection until the end of the already paid term. After this date, your subscription will end, and you will not be charged for any subsequent periods.

You can cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription through your My Kaspersky account. To cancel:

- Log in to my.kaspersky.com

- Go to your Subscription page

- Click Manage Subscription

- Select Cancel Subscription and follow the steps to confirm cancellation

You can also cancel auto-renewal by contacting Kaspersky Customer Support.

If you’ve already been charged for the next subscription term, you have 30 days from the billing date to request a full refund of the renewal payment.
