Oh, I'm really glad you're enjoying KDE Connect! It sounds like it's been super useful for you in linking your devices. You've mainly used it between your Android phone and your Linux and Windows computers, but now that you've got a new Android phone, it's been even more handy for sharing files quickly and easily between the two phones. And how cool is it that you can control the music player on your computer from your Android device! Sounds like you're getting a lot of benefits out of KDE Connect.

Oh my, this app is fantastic! It's so handy in keeping my old and new phones linked up to synchronize notifications. Although, it's not flawless as there are moments when the connection drops between the two phones despite them being on the same network. I occasionally have to restart the wifi or launch the app on both phones to get it back up and running. Nevertheless, it's a really wonderful app!

Wow, everything was running smoothly and super reliable when I had the EU dev ROM on my Mi Note 3. But things started going downhill once I switched back to the EU stable version. Now, I'm facing some issues - I can't send files from my phone, but receiving them works just fine. Also, if I disable multimedia controls and the app restarts because it was killed by the task manager for being inactive, I have to re-pair all over again. Despite these problems, overall the phone is still working pretty well.

Great work on everything! Just a small suggestion - it would be helpful if users could choose the orientation of their device for remote input. My phone screen is really tall, making it tricky to use as a trackpad. Having a wider layout would be more convenient, but that would mean being able to rotate the remote input by 90 degrees. Still, overall, you've done an amazing job! Keep it up!

I keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone. I own a Google Pixel 8 Pro and a MacBook Air with 14.1.2 Sonoma. The KDE desktop is okay, but there's an issue with the app on my phone. Every time I download it, it functions well for some time after connecting. However, if the connection with my Mac is lost, the app stops working. I try to unpair and pair the devices again; the computer responds well, but my phone doesn't cooperate. The app has a lot of promise, but it's frustrating that the mobile version doesn't work smoothly.

I use Linuxmint OS on my laptop and I really like this app. It's very helpful and I haven't found anything quite like it in the Linux Mint/Ubuntu software center. There are a few issues, but I'm sure they will be fixed over time. I have some features that I would like to see in this app. Firstly, the SMS sending option is there but it's not working. Secondly, I would like to access my mobile contacts and make calls from my computer. And lastly, it would be great if there was an easier way to browse my phone memory from my computer and vice versa. Thank you.

You've got all the necessary stuff to link up with another device or PC, but I can't go through with it for 2 reasons. The first is that it can't transfer folders (from Android to Android), which is what I need. The second is the ongoing notification. You can get rid of it by forcibly closing the app or hiding it in the settings. However, this only indicates that it's still active and using up resources. Other apps can shut down when not being used. I hope the Development Team can include this feature in the future.

Great! The app is amazing and user-friendly, offering speed, functionality, and the freedom of free software. It's awesome that there's no need for creating unnecessary accounts. However, there's a slight issue I encounter when transferring large files between my phone and laptop – the transfer halts midway. I'm unsure if this is specific to my device or connected to Android OS's battery optimization that pauses background apps. Setting that aside, I absolutely adore this app!

I found this amazing app on Android that made me switch back from iOS. It's a must-have if you use Linux on your PC. With it, you can control your PC using your phone screen (ideal for managing Netflix remotely), send notifications to and from your PC, transfer files quickly, and do so much more. In comparison, the iOS version is not as good, proving how fantastic Android can be.
