What is the kicker betting game?

In the kicker betting game you can give tips for games, i.e. predict how they will end before kick-off. For correct tips and correct tendencies you get 1-3 points. You can collect points over the course of the season.

Where can I find the kicker betting game on the website and in the kicker app?

You can find the kicker betting game in the Games section. In the kicker app you will find a menu item in the navigation, on kicker.de in the header or directly at kicker.de/tippspiel

How can I play in the kicker betting game?

In order to save tips and use tipping groups, you must have a free kicker account. Registration can be done directly in the kicker app or on kicker.de .

Can I take part in the betting game with multiple accounts?

No, unfortunately that is not allowed. Each natural person may only take part in the betting game with one account. Any attempts at abuse, for example to positively influence the competition, can lead to exclusion from the betting game.

The betting game does not load or there are error messages

The kicker betting game was developed for all devices, systems and browsers and is constantly optimized. If something doesn't work, there can be various reasons. Please try the following things so we can help resolve the issue:

    1. Use a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc.)

    2. Use a different device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.)

    3. Use a different network (e.g. mobile network instead of WiFi)

    4. Update your virus scanner, disable AdBlocker

    5. Log out of your kicker account and log in again. Do you perhaps have another account?

    Questions about competitions

Which leagues or competitions can be bet?

You can bet on all active competitions available at kicker (professionals and amateurs). We have separated them according to professionals and amateurs, for professionals they are sorted by continents or countries, for amateurs they are sorted by federal states.

What are the differences between professionals and amateurs?

For professional games you bet on the correct result (after 90 minutes), for amateur games you only bet on the trend (home win, draw, away win). Professional games are evaluated live, amateur games only after the final whistle / the results are available.

Can other sports also be bet on?

In addition to football, we currently offer leagues and competitions in handball, basketball, ice hockey and American football. Due to the difficulty of typing exact results, the 1/X/2 system is also used here.

I no longer want to enter a competition, how can I remove it?

At the bottom of the competition you will find an option to remove it.

    Questions about tips and points

How can I submit tips?

You can tap the open/untyped games shown on the homepage individually, or jump from game to game. You can also go to a game day of a competition and tap all the games in the overview or open a game and jump from game to game.

Can I still type games that have started or ended?

No, you can only bet on future games that have not yet kicked off.

Will I be shown whether I typed correctly? How do I get points?

During and after a game, the scoreboard shows whether the bet was correct, incorrect or with the correct tendency. More information can be found in the overview of the different scoreboard views. You can find information about the points in the game rules .

What happens to the points I collect?

The points collected are totaled and each bettor is sorted into a ranking list. This way you can always see where you currently stand.

Which untyped games are shown to me as "open games" in the betting game?

The games of the competitions in which you have already bet at least one game and which will take place in the next 5 days are always displayed here.

What result is counted in knockout games?

In the betting game, only the results after regular playing time are counted. There is no scoring after extra time or after the penalty shootout. Accordingly, knockout games can also end in a draw.

What happens if games are canceled or canceled?

Only games that were completed regularly will be evaluated. If a game is canceled or abandoned, no points will be awarded. If a game is subsequently rated differently, it will also be removed from the rating in the betting game.

What is the order in the ranking if there is a tie?

The total number of points is crucial for the ranking, i.e. the user's place. If several users have the same points, the following criteria apply:

    1. Total of games with a correct tip

    2. Tips with 3 points (correct result)

    3. Tips with 2 points (correct winner and correct goal difference)

    4. Tips with 1 point (correct tendency)

    5. Number of tips submitted (the fewer the better)

    Questions about tipping groups

How do I set up a tip group?

You can create a tipping group using the menu item “Create a tipping group”. You have to give a name and select the competitions to bet. You can then invite friends, colleagues, etc. to your tipping group using the invitation link.

How do I join a tipping group or how do the invitation links work?

You can send an invitation link to friends and colleagues via Messenger, for example. When you open the link, an application for the tipping group is submitted. The league admin can accept and reject the applications. The invitation links can also be forwarded so that invitees can invite other friends.

Can I leave a tipping group again?

You can find this option in the tip group below. If you leave the betting group as an admin or delete your kicker account, the oldest user (the first who joined after it was founded) in the betting group automatically becomes the admin.

How can I delete a betting session?

A betting round is automatically deleted when there are no longer any users in it. As an admin, you have to remove all other users and then exit yourself.

What about my tips/points and tipping groups?

Your tips and points in individual competitions are valid for all groups and the overall ranking. If you join a betting group during the season, you will take the points you have collected so far with you.

Where can I see what other betting group members have guessed?

If you click on a game, you will see the tips from the other betting group members after kick-off.
