KLM - Travel booking & check-in

Just received an email with delay information, which was the same as what I got at the airport. Couldn't upgrade to business class during check-in, had to do it on their website instead. Updated my rating to just 1 star because there was no value added. They even let me know my baggage belt after I had already reached home.

Logging in is a hassle – slow, annoying, and almost feels like you can't even do it. The password and passcode don't work, especially when you try to go back and fix them. What used to be helpful is now pointless. I gotta give props to KLM for replying quickly, they seem to care. Once they fix the app problems, my opinion will definitely improve.

The app was really good before, but now it's full of problems. I can't add my travel documents using the app – every time I try, I just see an error message saying "Oops, something went wrong." And because I can't add my travel documents, I can't check in either. It's frustrating to see the quality getting worse.

Good news - the ads have finally stopped! As a Flying Blue member, my member number is automatically filled in on the app. However, for my BlueBiz number, I still have to enter it manually every time. It would be great if they could make this automatic too. Sometimes, the app gives an error message saying it can't load the ticket even though I have internet. After pressing the button multiple times, the app does eventually load the ticket.

I got the app for my Amsterdam trip. I checked in using it the day before my flight. But at the airport, I couldn't find my boarding pass on the app. So, I had to wait for the check-in counter to open and stand in line to check in again. I wanted to cancel my Flying Blue membership linked to the app. They need you to contact them and send a passport or ID scan to cancel it. This experience made me not want to fly with KLM again.

The app could be much better. It doesn't show updates immediately. Even though I already checked in online, it still asks me to check in again at the airport. The flight was delayed but the app shows it as on time. I can't get my boarding pass on the app. When I tried to add missing miles from a previous flight, I kept getting an error. I won't keep using it. There are just too many issues.

This app is way faster than Air Canada’s for entering trip data. It's much better than Lufthansa's too. However, there is one issue - even though I had already put my passport information in my account profile, I had to re-enter it when I added my first trip. The app didn't automatically use the info from my profile.

Navigating the KLM App is a breeze, no problems at all. You can use the app to easily browse and book flights to top destinations around the world directly.

Flying with KLM is fantastic, but booking a flight is a complete mess. Every time my girlfriend and I try to book a flight, we never know what issue will pop up next. When I attempt to book through the app, it sends me to the website for payment. After I make the payment, the app crashes and the transaction doesn't go through. It usually takes at least 30 minutes to book a flight with KLM, so I suggest taking a Valium before to keep calm.
