1. Is the price of a ticket purchased via KOLEO the same as at the ticket office on the train station?

Yes, all the tickets available through KOLEO are priced exactly the same as those which can be purchased at the ticket offices that belong to the Polish rail carriers like PKP Intercity, POLREGIO, Koleje Dolnośląskie, Koleje Wielkopolskie, Koleje Śląskie, Koleje Małopolskie, PKP SKM and many other train companies of which we are official ticket seller.

2. Can I use my ticket for a different train than I originally planed to?

Within the time frame for which a ticket is valid a person with that ticket can take any train that belongs to the same train carrier and travels through the same route. For example if you originally intended to take a train departing at 12:30 and you have a ticket valid for 6 hours than you can take any train departing after the 12:30 on the condition that you will reach your destination before 18:30.

The sole exception from that rule are the tickets for the trains belonging to the PKP Intercity Company. Such tickets are linked to specific places in specific trains. So they won’t be valid for any different trains.

3. What kind of document will I need during the ticket control?

First and foremost –  You need a ticket. Said ticket should be printed on a singular A4 sheet of paper or presented on the screen of some kind of mobile electronic device with a screen with the size equal or grater than 25 x 25 mm. In addition you will also need to show the ID of the ticket owner – the person whose name can be found on the ticket (please note that the ID must have a picture) and also a proper document that will confirm that the Passenger has the right to use a discount.

That last condition will only be valid if one or more tickets were bought with a discount. If you are not sure if you can or can not use a discount – please check the Reliefs, discounts and promotions division of our Help.
