Kindle reader synchronization in the mobile application on your Android phone

Connection diagram:

In the application settings, enable the "Use Legimi application to synchronize your device" option "KindleTM".

When connecting the reader for the first time - with the previously launched application, the following message appears:

If we have the application running, we turn on Kindle mode from the shelf by clicking the icon in the upper left corner

The configurator will start:

If the reader has not been detected, the following message will appear:

Check the connection - cable, whether the reader has switched to disk mode, etc., then you are asked to grant permissions:

A window for entering the serial number will appear - for most models, just select it

"Read automatically" - when entering manually, please note that the serial number does not contain the capital letter O, only the digits 0.

In the second step, we may also encounter a problem with the correct detection of the Kindle (even though the application switches to the selection mode) - if there is no Kindle disk to choose from, check the connection, verify whether the Kindle is detected in the memory management application - an example view from the My Files application on Samsung phone:

In some devices that support OTG, this function is disabled by default and must be enabled in the settings. In different models and brands, this solution is sometimes hidden in other places, but most often it can be found by entering the system settings and selecting the "OTG mass storage" option.

Additionally - especially in older phone models working on older versions of the Android system, the order of connection may be important:

- the phone should be unlocked (some Android overlays may block OTG mode initialization when the screen is locked)

- first, connect the OTG cable to the phone

- then we connect the Kindle to the OTG cable

Note - when selecting a folder, select the kindle folder - not the phone's internal memory!!

We select the folder in the default memory management application (its window is automatically displayed) - we select the main Kindle folder (not any of the sub-folders)

If we select the wrong folder, a message will appear

After proper configuration, the application switches to kindle mode (the icon in the upper left corner is active)

We can select books - synchronize the reader:

We can also filter books added to the shelf - display only new/sent/deleted ones

If synchronization fails to complete due to errors:

Exceeding the device limit - just click on changing the device in the application

Not all subscription items are available on Kindle, so not all of them appear in the book selection window when synchronizing the reader. The catalog of books available on Kindle as part of the subscription can be found at this link .

As part of the subscription fee, you can send 7 or 10 books to the reader per month. Books sent to the reader in previous months after the reader's synchronization will still be available for reading, so in the following months the stock of books sent as part of the subscription to the reader will increase. Please remember that unused limits of books sent to the reader do not carry over to the next month.

After changing the billing period, i.e. after exceeding the expiration date, it is necessary to synchronize the application with the reader again so that the books previously sent to the reader are still available.

The application also supports recycle bin synchronization - books moved to the recycle bin in the Android application or on a website after being manually removed from the reader will not return to it during the next synchronization.
