The app is the best option we have, but it has a lot of bugs. Even after I paid for an ad-free experience, ads are still showing up and I can't restore my purchases. It's frustrating that every app update introduces new problems. The quality is disappointing, but unfortunately, this seems common among local apps. It feels like South African mobile developers are always lagging behind. Recently, the issue with ads was temporarily resolved, but they've reappeared once again. This cycle seems to occur with every other update, unlike any other app I use. It's really annoying.

The app is sometimes confusing and the interface is not user-friendly. Adding a manual to explain what you see and what things mean would be helpful. The loadshedding times were not always correct, but I won't solely blame the app. I think the government is more often getting things wrong than right! So, I'll give it a 3-star rating for now. Hopefully, the app will improve or the government will do better in the future! 😁👍🇿🇦

This system is so unreliable. You think there will be power cuts but there aren't any, and then when you're expecting electricity, it's suddenly gone. I woke up to a message from the developer saying there would be no power cuts. This system has only worked correctly a few times over the years. I have all the notifications turned on, but I received none. Power cuts should not happen, and the notification system just keeps showing how bad Eskom is. It let me down again on the coldest day of the year, just like it has done many times before.

This load shedding app remains the best even after a year. It keeps improving, and I appreciate it. I found this app very useful in February 2019. It's always accurate, keeping me informed about Eskom and how it might impact me. I can also check planned outages in advance to plan accordingly. I highly recommend this app – give it a try. If you don't like it, just delete it (but you probably will like it).

It works well and is dependable. It could improve by sending updates more quickly. Sometimes my colleagues using different apps tell me about power cuts before I get notified by this app. I really like the feature that tells me when I will experience a power cut. It makes it easy to know what to expect at each stage.

The app is great! You can customize the level of detail and notifications to suit your needs. It provides warnings before power outages happen and includes City of Cape Town notifications. You can also get updates from CoCT and Eskom directly via Twitter if you choose. I suggest supporting the developer with a small R80 fee to keep the app running smoothly. Note: Make sure to check all the settings as the default notification settings may be too much for some users.

This app is great! I've never experienced incorrect load shedding schedules. The only improvement needed is the user interface. It looks a bit outdated and could use a more modern design. It feels like using an old spreadsheet from 2002. Apart from that, this app is essential due to its reliability. Definitely deserves a 5-star rating without a doubt.

They did a great job with the layout and interface design. However, I've had to reinstall it multiple times because after a while, it just closes on its own right after opening. And sometimes, certain areas are empty even though they should have information from lookup tables.
