1. Do I have to subscribe to keep access to Logos?

No, you won't be forced to subscribe to Logos. Unlike most software companies, we make our latest software available to everyone. Even if the last feature set you bought was Logos 4 in 2009 (or even version 1 in 1992!), you'll continue to receive free app updates, ensuring you can keep using Logos anytime you change computers or upgrade your operating system. You'll continue to receive bug fixes for free, too. What you won't get is access to the powerful new and improved features offered in the subscription version of Logos.

2. If I buy new books or libraries while I’m subscribed and then unsubscribe, will I lose them?

No, books or libraries you buy are yours forever. If you unsubscribe, you would only lose book access that was included in the subscription.

3. Can I still buy and keep books, or will they be a subscription, too?

None of this changes. You’ll still be able to purchase books, either individually or in a collection, and you’ll own them forever.

4. Will more AI-assisted features be available through subscription in the future?

We are working to apply the use of AI responsibly so that the Holy Spirit’s leading is always foremost. Within those guidelines, we plan to offer additional carefully selected capabilities incorporating AI assistance.

Original Text Study

The mobile app includes several ways to study the original text.

1. Lookup Menu

The easiest way to study the original text is to use the Lookup menu. Press and hold or double-tap to open the menu. Tap Lookup to open the dictionary entry for your selected word in a new tab. Tap Search to open a new Search tab pre-populated with a query for a term (the dictionary form of your word). Tap Study to open a new Bible word study of the original text entry for that word.

2. Exegetical Guide

While viewing any passage, open the Section Menu () and tap Exegetical Guide. This guide provides a detailed analysis of the underlying Greek or Hebrew in any Bible passage to help you understand and interpret the passage accurately. It includes entries from your text's identification, grammar, and includes a word-by-word part-of-speech analysis of each word in your passage.

Using Filters

You can filter the displayed resources in your Library by tapping the Filter icon .

Filter options show resources by the following categories:

- Download status (Downloaded to your device or not)

- Audio (audiobooks or resources with audio)

- Subject (Bible, Sermons, etc.)

- Type (Monograph, Bible Commentary, etc.)

- Language

- Author

- Series

- Publisher
