How do I register with Lookout Life?

Here's how the Lookout Life download and registration process works.

- Once downloaded, open the Lookout Life app

- Sign up for an account by inputting the email address you wish to use to register with Lookout Life. This email address will be the key to accessing your Lookout Life account; if you have multiple email addresses please make note of which one you've chosen.

Note: The Lookout Life app will not function if the registration is not completed from the device.

How do I log out of the Lookout Life app?

In general, the Lookout Life app needs to be consistently logged in on your phone for our services to function properly.

While there is intentionally no 'log out' option, you can reset the Lookout Life app if you wish to log out of the app for any reason.

For Android

- Re-activate the Lookout Life app by going into 'Settings' on your phone (not in the Lookout Life app) > Security > Device Administrators and uncheck the box next to Lookout Life. (If the box is not checked, skip to step 3)

- Choose Deactivate on the next screen and choose OK on the warning pop up.

- Go to Settings > Apps > Lookout Life and choose Storage then Clear data. This will log you out.

How do I uninstall Lookout Life?

For Android devices:

You will first need to remove lookout Life as device admin.

- Within the Lookout Life app go to Menu > Settings. Scroll down to "Device Admin" and uncheck the box.

- You can also do this by going into your Android Settings > Security > Device administrators and unchecking the box next to Lookout Life

Note: Lookout Life comes preloaded on some devices, which means it is impossible to delete the app. This is a decision made by your carrier. While you can't uninstall the app, you can still disable it to prevent it from running.
