Tips & Guide to Ace the Game

1. Try The Level Out First

It is no secret that these games are difficult. The controls are difficult and take time to master well, and the levels can be unforgiving at times, when it seems like even one wrong move can send you right back to the beginning again. But there are ways that you can get around this. The first thing you should do is make sure you get familiar with the controls that you will be using throughout the game.

The left and right arrows will move you around the level and you can tap the screen to jump. That is basically all you need to know but you need to be mindful of how you time your jumps and how long you make them. You can also wall jump around walls which can help you jump to even greater heights.

So how do you make sure you get the levels right? Well the first thing you should do is don’t be afraid to just try the level out first. No one is going to get it the first time, so don’t be afraid to just try it out by yourself and see where you can get.

2. Plot Your Route Carefully

Once you have tried out the level you will have a good idea of the route that you are going to take in order to reach the goal. Once you actually start playing the level you don’t think too much about it, it’s more like a reflex or a feeling that you just go with. So you have to make sure that you have a good idea of where you are going to go. Keep in mind the timing of each of the jumps and make sure you can think in your mind what path your character will take throughout the level.

This means that you have to plan the route out carefully before you proceed. Again, this will be difficult to do on your first try through the level. It is an iterative process and you will learn more about the best way to go through the level the more times you play through it, that’s simply how it goes.

One piece of advice that might help you do better at Mad Dex is to ignore your hesitation. Mad Dex works on fear, because you fear falling down and getting killed you will pause before you jump. This is usually what gets you killed, if you run and jump throughout the level without thinking you will actually get farther than you might expect. So ignore any hesitation that you may have, forget about dying and challenge yourself to go through the level without ever stopping your character, see how far you can get. This is best done in conjunction with step 1 and 2, so that you will have a good layout of the level planned just in case you don’t finish it that first time.
