Location Search and GPS Accuracy

To find a specific location, users can either input/paste the address/coordinates into the search bar or manually enter each coordinate value in separate fields using advanced search options. what3words, MGRS, UTM, or GEOREF can only be searched for using the single search field.

For optimal GPS accuracy, it is recommended to use the app outdoors where GPS satellites are easily accessible without obstructions like buildings or clouds. In indoor settings, accurate location tracking is achievable through WiFi connectivity only when the device is linked to a network.

The side drawer menu facilitates navigation within the app, allowing users to access features such as History/Favorites and switch map providers like Google Maps and Open Street Maps, each offering distinct map styles. Additionally, under Open Street Maps, a compass feature is constantly available.

Users can customize settings via the side navigation drawer, granting the ability to switch between different coordinate types, adjust the visibility of the address bar, activate the Distance Measure tool, and enable the Elevation tool, which shows the altitude of a selected location on the map.
