Using Guide

Material Files is a file management tool thanks to which we can easily access any file, document or application that we have in the memory of our Android terminal in the same way as we would do on a desktop computer, for example.

Using Material Files is very simple. When we are working with our files we will have the classic possibilities that we are used to on desktop computers, such as copy, paste, cut, create, delete or rename; but we can also send a document quickly via email or another app that we have installed. Moving between folders is also fast and convenient, and you can move back and forth easily. On the other hand, we can create new folders and files at the click of a button.

From the drop-down side menu we can quickly navigate through the folders we use the most. We will also find here very interesting filters, which will allow us to see only the pictures we have in the device's memory, only the videos, or even only the APKs.

Material Files is a simple and useful tool for any Android user, with which users will be able to access any file on their terminal in a completely simple and intuitive way.

So basically, it would be great if the app can tell me how fast files are being moved or copied and what the speed range (minimum, maximum, average) was after the transfer is done. It would also be super handy if I could quickly access a folder I use often by adding a shortcut to it in the side menu, saving me time from having to search for it every single time.

This app is really good. One thing to note is that the marquee and ellipsize features don't work for long file names in grid mode. Another suggestion is to allow users to add multiple files to the home screen with the 'create shortcut' option at once, instead of having to do it one by one right now.

I was shocked to discover that I lost thousands of files due to this app. If you know about moving a folder with the same name (A/B to C/B), typically it would merge the two folders automatically, keeping the unique files and only replacing duplicates. However, this app doesn't do that - it overwrites the entire destination folder with the contents of the new folder. Thanks a lot for deleting my files!

The latest app update addressed past problems and now works as intended. It offers dark mode and pure black night settings. It looks sleek and runs very quickly, receiving double thumbs up!

I discovered this cool app after reading a review by Android Police. The developer did an amazing job with the file explorer, it's so clean and visually appealing! The animations are done very well and the app works smoothly. I'm not a heavy user, so this is perfect for me. However, I would be willing to purchase a paid version with more features to support the developer.
