Mecenat provides you with a multitude of student discounts on various products and services, both in physical stores and online. By downloading the Mecenat application, you will have your virtual Mecenat card, along with your eligible travel discounts and numerous student deals at your fingertips.

FAQ
My Mecenat card does not have the public transport symbol
1. Check your Mecenat card for the logo and maybe clear cache
Check that your card is updated by restarting the app. Make sure the app has access to internet/mobile data when you do it.
Sometimes you may have log out and in again or even clear app data/cache for the phone to update.
2. Check that you are entitled to the discount

3. Submit a certificate to Mecenat
Send us a valid certificate and we will upgrade the card. Send it via the support form below.
University student in Sweden (including exchange students registered at a Swedish university) - Submit a Ladok certificate.
Foreign university student - Submit a registration certificate dated to the current semester that shows your ECTS registrations.
Komvuk, Yh, Folk High School - Ask your school for a Study Certificate (studieintyg). Welcome letters, acceptance letters, screenshots etc are not valid.

Getting started with Mecenat
With these quick steps you can get started with Mecenat, have the digital card in your smartphone and access student discounts online and in shop.
1. Download the Mecenat App

You can choose language in the upper right hand corner (English or Swedish)
2. Enter your Personnummer or e-mail address.
2a. Already have an account?
If you already have registered an account, just sign in with e-mail address and password.
2b. New to Mecenat?
Enter your Personnummer. If unsure it is the one you have registered in the university system (Ladok). If you are an international student it is frequently a T-number in the form YYMMDD-TNNN.
Verify who you are. You will then be asked to verify yourself. You either use your Swedish Mobile Bank-ID or your Mecenat Student ID number.
Your Mecenat Student ID number is sent by e-mail to you the morning after your university/student union has ordered your card. It is sent from the e-mail address mail-se@mecenat.com.
3. Done!
Now you are logged in to the app and can access your digital Mecenat card and the student discounts.
