What is COPPA?COPPA, or the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, is a law in the United States requiring websites which can potentially collect information from minors under the age of 13 to have written parental consent or some other method of legal guardian acknowledgment, allowing the collection of personally identifiable information from a minor under the age of 13. The product works just like the version on my mp3 music server. It's the best for people with big collections of mp3 files. I have a huge CD collection that I've been trimming down over the years, ripping each CD before getting rid of it. I love owning my own music collection. MediaMonkey is perfect for music lovers like me. It's easy to use, effective, and very detailed.

The interface looks good and it's easy to find and import music from an SD card. Some small issues though: can't sort albums by year or edit track numbers within the app, need a PC for that and some albums won't show multiple cover arts, it always defaults to one. It's not perfect but it gets the job done as an iPod replacement.

The new MMA app on my phone is a real disappointment. It runs slower, freezes often, and crashes. Tasks that were once simple are now more complicated. The design isn't great either - the color themes are unattractive and the album covers have text all over them. Just bring back the old version, please!

The issue has been resolved, and now there is a large yellow button with the option to play all. Thank you for your feedback!

I found a great music app that's super easy to use. I could easily transfer my iTunes playlists without any hassle. I updated my review after using it. But then I downloaded version 5, and the Android version had so many issues. It wouldn't sync properly with USB, and when I tried to sync just my playlist, it took hours and ended up with lots of duplicate songs. Looks like I have to find another app now.

I left the beta program because the new version had problems. Now that it's out, it's still not showing album art and crashing, just like before. When I went back to the old version, the album art appeared as usual. I can see album art when I use Poweramp, my current player. I formatted my SD card, where my music is stored, and started re-syncing 11k songs. It's a slow process, but it seems to be resolving the issues.

I had MediaMonkey on my desktop for years with a forever license and loved it, so I decided to install it on my Android phone. The sorting and lists were great and it synced playlists with my desktop app perfectly. But, the sound quality on the Android version was disappointing compared to the stock player using an external USB-C DAC. It was surprising and made me sad. So now I have to find a new music player. Again. 😞

You like the desktop app and find the mobile app good. Your main problem is deciding which albums to sync, so you created a playlist on your desktop and only sync that one with your phone. The app used to stop playing for no reason, but it turned out to be related to an Android battery saver feature. In the update on 12/22, you mentioned that the app keeps freezing or crashing even when you are not doing anything. You hope that it's just a bug that will be fixed soon.
