With the official Melodifestivalen app, you can vote with your heart - completely free! You can also watch Melodifestivalen content around the clock, hang out backstage, and get the latest news from artists and hosts in the Mellofeed, play quizzes, predict the results in the competitions, increase your "Mello pulse," have fun stuff for your profile and avatar, collect and swap collector's cards, and send messages to friends in different groups.

Snacks: Stock up on lördagsgodis (Saturday sweets) to keep energy levels high throughout the show.

Scorecards: Create personal scorecards to track your favorite performances and engage with family and friends during the show.

Social Media Interaction: Follow Melodifestivalen's official accounts on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok for updates and community interaction.

To vote, click or tap on the heart in the app to make it grow. A full-size heart equals one vote. During the live broadcast, the heart on screen shows the engagement of the various viewer groups and how much voting is happening at the moment. You can heart-vote up to ten times for each entry in the heats and in the final. Add friends to see how they have voted with their hearts and predicted.

    Oh no, the app is not working properly. It was taking forever to load, so I missed the first voting session. And even when I managed to get into the app, it was extremely slow switching between pages. I couldn't vote again because of how sluggish it was.

    Imagine a hybrid app that is just not up to par. The navigation doesn't make sense, it randomly goes into full screen mode, and even restarts out of nowhere. It's just not a good user experience at all.

    I don't know whether to be impressed or annoyed that one can release such a unclear app. I see less than 50% of the content as everything is zoomed in the app and only see those on the left side of the app. I have a Pixel XL with the latest version of Android. Ah, I changed from Small to Default on "Font size" & "Display size" and then I could see everything in your app. It's the first app I've come across that doesn't adjust with the screen, but you get an extra star for responding super quickly and having a work-around.

    I like the functionality and the concept. I dislike that it moves around a lot and that the app doesn't respond to the back button.

    This app for voting is really great, except sometimes it goes "offline" on its own. Other than that, there's just a small issue - it tends to shut down by itself after a short while. It's almost like it's using Python but without a while loop.
