Meta Quest - VR gaming platform

The Quest's operating system is really good and they keep adding new features, which is cool. But the Android app is not doing well. They added a feature where you can get notifications from your phone on the headset with the latest update, but the Android app hasn't caught up yet. So that feature doesn't work. The iOS app has had this for a while. Before, you could share media from the headset to your phone, but now that doesn't work either.

The app has more features than the desktop version. You can browse games and filter free content, which is not possible on the desktop. I receive notifications when someone messages me or beats my game scores. I am enjoying using Quest with the Link features.

Worked fine with my Quest 2 but started getting an error with my Quest 3 when trying to log in. Tried everything like clearing cache but still no luck. The "Continue As" option isn't working either. Can't complete setting up my Quest 3 because of this issue.

Users want to view and transfer images and videos from headsets to the gallery for editing, saving, and deleting. The app can access the gallery but can't save anything there. Unable to locate the files on the phone means they are hidden and will consume storage space without being manageable for deletion. This violates user rights and negatively impacts a great product platform. The saved videos belong to the users; they should be placed in the gallery for easy management, saving, and editing with their preferred software.

The app doesn't provide support because they need authorization codes but won't send them. The website and app both ask for authorization codes, even though the email directs me to the website. This means the app is violating Play Store policies for lacking support. They claim my email isn't attached, even though I can see it in the information and data- and they deny support by rejecting serial numbers. My money was taken unjustly, now it's time to return it!

Casting to the phone was a real headache at first. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't work at all. The FAQs didn't mention uninstalling and reinstalling the app as a solution, but it actually worked for me. There's still a noticeable delay when moving through menus and you can't do tasks simultaneously like checking out game summaries while watching trailers. It would be great if they could improve this aspect. Overall, the app functions fine after some troubleshooting.
