MGM+, formerly known as Epix (pronounced epics and stylized as eᴘix), is an American premium cable and satellite television network owned by the MGMPlus Entertainment LLC subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), a subsidiary of Amazon's MGM Holdings, Inc.The channel's programming consists of recent and older theatrically released motion pictures, original television series, documentaries, and music and comedy specials.

Following the acquisition of parent company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, who had bought out the stakes of co-founders Lionsgate and Paramount by the end of 2017, by Amazon in 2022, the network announced on September 28, 2022 that it would rebrand the service as MGM+ on January 15, 2023, a culmination of a gradual rebranding of the network to utilize the imaging of MGM itself following the buyout.

    I have this cool show I'm watching, but the app it's on is so frustrating. It keeps disconnecting from my TV like 6 times per episode and then doesn't even remember where I left off. There's no 'continue watching' feature, I can't fast forward or rewind by just a few seconds, the next episode doesn't start automatically, and there's no option to skip the recap or intro. They wanna charge $5.99 a month for this? No thanks. Once I'm done with this show, I'll stick to the other 7 apps I already subscribe to where I can find these movies.

    It's frustrating when the show restarts instead of letting you pick up where you left off, especially if you get interrupted. That shouldn't happen with a streaming app. It's important to have a smooth experience. Other platforms like HBO manage to do this well. I won't continue my subscription after the trial if this issue persists.

    Really love this app and the TV channel at home. The movies they offer are just fantastic, can't get enough of them.

    The app works perfectly on my phone, but when I tried to cast it on my TV, the screen was all black, and I could only hear the audio. I also checked the Epix app for casting, but it had the same issue. It would be great if you could create a dedicated TV app or allow logins through the Epix app. This situation is a bit frustrating, and without this problem, I would have rated the app higher. (UPDATE: The issue still persists with the Samsung Smart TV app.)

    The app is not easy to use and always has problems. It keeps shutting down when I'm watching a show. I have to remember what I was watching, search through all the shows to find it again, and then try to figure out where I left off. And even if I manage to restart the show, it keeps pausing to load, even though I downloaded the content beforehand.
