Tips for Optimal Solitaire Gameplay

Strategize! Plan your moves carefully to uncover hidden cards and create new opportunities. Anticipate potential roadblocks and think about the consequences of each move.

Prioritize using uncovered cards to build foundation piles and expose hidden cards. This increases your chances of success.

When rearranging columns, keep a descending order of alternating colors for more flexibility.

Use empty columns wisely for temporary storage. This can help free up important cards or create useful sequences.

Patience is key. Don’t rush through moves – take your time to analyze the current board state and think strategically.

Start with easier variations such as Klondike or Spiderette to understand the fundamental concepts.

Set time limits for completing games to improve decision-making abilities under pressure.

Learn advanced techniques like building long card sequences or performing multiple moves in one turn.

Track progress and identify areas to improve. Motivation is key!

By using these strategies you can optimize gameplay, increase chances of winning, and develop a deeper understanding of the game. Let’s get shuffling!

Celebrate over 30 years with FAVORITE Solitaire card games, right here, in Microsoft Solitaire Collection!

There are some problems happening with ads within the app recently. When you reach that part where an ad is supposed to play, the screen turns black and nothing happens. You have to leave the app entirely and try opening it again. This keeps on repeating every time. But if you just let the game be for around 30 minutes, eventually a new ad starts playing and everything works as it should. This has been going on for a few days already. It's quite frustrating and annoying. You've provided an update, mentioning that no new ads are playing at all. It's been about 25 hours now with just a blank ad, making the game unplayable.

Oh, I adore this game! It's my favorite choice. I enjoy changing things up and the challenges are always fresh and exciting. It's definitely the best solitaire game out there. I purchased the premium version because I love it so much. There are no ads, ever, and the app has never caused any issues. I noticed some people saying you can't mute it, but mine mutes without any trouble at all. So, you can play in silence if you prefer. Thank you for creating such a fantastic and relaxing game. P.S. Those butterflies are just lovely! 🦋

A fabulous game gets a decreased rating due to lengthy, irritating ads in between gameplay. It's frustrating to be held up by irrelevant ads when all you want to do is dive back into the joy of playing. The excessive ad time disrupts the fun flow and makes the experience less enjoyable. Please, make the ads shorter! Nobody wants to sit through long ads or learn about the advertisers. This issue hampers my urge to play frequently. Kudos to the game developers for their great work, but the advertising department needs to dial it back for a better gaming experience.

I love playing card games, especially the challenging ones that make me think. Just a short while ago, I tried to open my app but it keeps closing right away, and it's really frustrating. I've upgraded to the premium version without ads. I want to get back into the game, and if I could, I'd give it 10 stars because I enjoy it so much. Can you please help me figure out what's going on with the app?

Absolutely enjoying the daily challenges. They vary in difficulty, giving my brain a good workout! Isn't it interesting how I can breeze through the tough ones effortlessly but struggle with the simpler ones? It's all about the luck of the draw, really. I appreciate being able to access challenges from as far back as 2015 with my premium account. The only downside for me is that the 2015 and 2016 challenges tend to rely heavily on move solvers, which isn't my favorite type, but I still give them a shot.

This app is really fun to use with its great games and many challenges. There are daily events and lots of different ways to play. The more you climb the leaderboard and get close to number one, which is run by AI, you feel a mix of excitement and disappointment. At the end of each event, you can check out where you stand in the rankings, from 1 to 100. The top of the leaderboard shows the happiest and unhappiest players. It would be nice to see how many ranking tables there are from 1 to 100 in an event and know exactly where you rank. Overall, it's a fantastic app to enjoy!

Let me tell you about this game that doesn't work properly. It's like Microsoft came up with a brand new problem - the Black Screen Of Death for this game. As soon as you open it, ads pop up even before you can start playing. But here's the kicker - most of the time these ads don't even load, leaving you with a frustrating black screen. The only way out is to force quit the game. You might try restarting it multiple times, but chances are slim that you'll actually get to play a round. It's a real challenge, that's for sure.

This app is great for playing solitaire; no problems with the gameplay. However, the customization feature is terrible. That's why I'm rating it four stars. When creating a custom card back, there's an irritating white border that can't be removed, ruining most images I try to use. Additionally, the "Add Images to Cards" function only allows placing the image in one spot on the card. The customization system used to be good but has been ruined now.

Those ads just refuse to cooperate! I'm telling you, I've tried over and over again to get them to show up on this app, but no luck. It's like they're playing a game with us, purposely hiding, knowing we're waiting. And get this, they still get paid even if we can't see the ad. Sneaky, right? I've caught one instance where the loading bar flickers before an ad is supposed to start, and then bam! Black screen. And the longer you tolerate that black screen and keep reopening the app, the more it happens. My suggestion? Skip the subscription because that's likely what's causing this whole ad debacle.

Imagine this - the ads on the screen are now gigantic. They're blocking half of the cards in your deck, which you need to touch to deal, and even half of the undo keys at the bottom. And get this, they also show up in timed competition mode. It's just too much! How can you play quickly when you have to dodge the ads instead of focusing on the cards? It's really frustrating and makes playing the game not enjoyable at all. It feels like there's no reason to even try playing anymore.
