Microsoft Sudoku - Mind-sharpening puzzles & challenges

Last year, I was really into this game on my PC. It was so much fun until it started acting up and wouldn’t get past the loading screen. I had to quit playing. Recently, I noticed it on the Play Store and thought I’d give it another shot. Logged into my account, but ran into that same old issue again. Feels like my cloud save is messed up or something. I can’t dive back in without my achievements and stats. I reached out to support for help, but they weren’t much use. After my second email, it felt like I got ghosted. Such a bummer.

You play the game, and it feels decent enough. Lately though, ads become a hassle. First, you sit through the entire first page. Then an arrow pops up, demanding your tap. After that, another step—tapping "done." Each time brings a countdown. Finally, you can hit that X to escape. If you mess up even a bit, off you go to the play store. So frustrating! Just like that, you're over it. Time to uninstall.

The game is fantastic, but there's a frustrating issue with the Android app. It doesn't sync progress from my PC. I use the same Xbox login on both devices. The app sends progress to the cloud, but it doesn't pull updates back. If I complete a challenge on my PC, then switch to my phone, that challenge shows up as incomplete. Going back to my PC, the status also changes to incomplete because of the phone's upload. If this bug gets fixed, I would happily give it 5 stars.

I used to love this app. It was so much fun. Lately, it just won't load games. The loading screen keeps going forever. Before, restarting the app helped, but now that doesn't work. When it does work, it's a fantastic little game. The ads don’t bug me too much like in some other games. Lots of playtime before seeing an ad. Plus, there's a nice option to pay a small fee to get rid of ads altogether.

This game brings so much joy! Daily challenges keep things exciting. The expert levels with their quirky layouts present a real thrill. They are tough and far from the usual square grid. I love diving into these when I want to really test my brain. It’s always a rewarding experience!

The game has tons of variations, and you can earn Xbox achievements. One thing that drives me crazy is the input method. I like to keep it set to "notes." When I switch from evaluating numbers to cells, it switches back to "answers" on its own. It’s so annoying! I click on the next cell, and bam, it fills with whatever number I was looking at last. No way to turn this off in the challenge section either. The game ends up marking mistakes that aren’t mine. So frustrating!
