Newbie Tutorial Day 1

This tutorial is for newbies that don't know about the game and want to try its "Survival" gamemode. You can learn about what to do in-game by reading this article.

Mini World has different types of biomes like deserts, icy spikes, snowfields, mountains, wild forests, and even more!

When you start a new world, you spawn in a random set of coordinates and automatically get the basic tools to start. Lets start by learning how to use them:

First actions: Grab stones and branches, make tools and a Crafting Table

Use your Stone Axe in your inventory to chop wood (and most importantly tree branches). After it's destroyed, Timber and Branches will drop on the ground. Collect them by getting close to the small items, then they will transfer to your backpack. The branches will be useful for further crafting and item creation like Stone Shovels.

Look for tiny stones lying on the ground, collect them with your bare hands, and use the branches and stones you collected to make a Stone Pickaxe. This is a basic core tool to collect stone and progress in-game. You also should use those to make an Incomplete Crafting Table, it's essential to craft more items.

Second step: Make a campfire and torches for light

Before night arrives, make sure to have light around so that monsters don't spawn close to you. To have a source of light, you can collect Timber, Stone, A Handful of Weeds and Branches to make light sources. The most basic are:

Campfires (Activated with a torch on your hand - permanent light source if the campfire is properly covered)

Torches (Made with A Handful of Weeds and Branches - temporary light source, since it can turn off after some time or when raining and the torch is uncovered)

FAQ: Where do my items go after collecting 8+ different items?

The items will instead store in your backpack if you have more than 8 different items in your item bar. On computers, press B to open the backpack. On mobile devices, tablets or Android emulators, press the backpack button to open it. The "B" key shortcut for computers can be changed in the game settings.

Third step: Make a bed

After the day, the moon will come and it will be night, the time for monsters to wake up and attack players. To skip this, you need a bed. To craft it, look for cottons around the ground, collect them using an axe, look for handfuls of weeds by breaking grass, then you can make a bed with these items, on the incomplete crafting table you crafted before. To sleep, tap on the bed. Don't sleep too early, as nothing happens. The time to go to bed is from 18:00 to 6:00.

Note: If you are on a multiplayer room, every player has to be sleeping to skip the night.

Newbie Tutorial Day 2

What kinds of food you can have in Mini World? How to get them?

There are many ways to obtain food, most easily you can do:

-In Wild Environment-

    1、There are chances you can obtain food by breaking jars;

    2、Pumpkins you see in the wild;

    3、Break fruiting tree leaves will drop fruits.

-By killing wild animals-

    1、attack wild animals(Pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, fishes) and kill them can obtain raw meat;

Tips：Can eat directly. Eating cooked meat can restore more hunger. You can do that by using bonfire. (0.54 or higher versions)

    2、Kill Boardman/ Spiderling might drop poisoned meat or spider leg;

Tips：Can be poisoned by eating that.

-By planting-

    1、Plant wheat and craft them into bread;

    2、Plant potatoes, carrot, pumpkin or watermelons;

In the starter period, the items you have is limited, so it is not wise to travel far.

The second day you can collect some Wheat seed nearby.

Tips：break wild grass will drop wheat (for version 0.54 or higher, normal grass will drop Handful of Weeds)

Newbie Tutorial First Time Mining

In the previous tutorial, it shows how to get our own wheat farm, which solve the issue with food. Now in preparation for a far journey, what else need to do except for food?

Lets check it out!

When you go mining, you will find a lot of resources but not enough basic supplies, such as wood or food.

First, you need to prepare a set of wood: limit it in only one type of wood to save more space in backpack.

Then break some stones with your wooden pickaxe, and make a update of your tools.

Use the Toolbox to make three stone pickaxes and one stone shovel.

What you need : a set of wood blocks, three stone pickaxes, one stone shovel and a Toolbox.

Pick wherever you want and start mining! It is very easy to find a mine like picture below.

We suggest to mine near your spawn point or your base.

Tap the virtual controller arrows to move

Players can interact with items and use them or even break them.

Touch an item and hold it ("long press") until it breaks

Tap on items in the inventory and put them on the ground and recycle them.

The quick access bar for items only can store 8 items (in stacks), but new items will be stored in the backpack.

Tap on the backpack to open it.

Choose an item from the backpack.

Tap the selected item and then tap into the quick access bar on an item to exchange the items.
