Mirror Your Android Phone onto Your Television Screen Wirelessly

Miracast Wi-Fi Display is a tool that lets you cast the screen of your Android device on to your smart television or wireless display adapter wirelessly. The app works on a range of Android devices running Android version 4.2 or later.

Wireless HDMI

Functioning like HDMI without the cable, Miracast Wi-Fi Display mirrors your device onto your television screen with audio and high-definition visuals. Once you enable Miracast, everything – from apps and videos to your phone’s general interface – can be replicated on the large screen. The streaming options are infinite. Miracast incorporates the H.264 codec for mirroring videos in Full HD and surround sound audio. Copyrighted materials, such as music and DVDs, could be mirrored too, thanks to the DRM layer.

Using the App

To start casting your phone’s screen onto your television, make sure your TV supports Miracast or wireless display. If it does, you are good to go. Ensure your handheld device and television are connected to the same Internet network. If your phone is using mobile data and your TV is connected to your Wi-Fi, the screen casting will not work. Once you've made sure the compatibility exists and network connections are set right, you may hit the connect button on the app and choose the television option. You may now cast your device’s screen.

Features:

- Mirror your Android device's screen on a TV screen (Smart TV support for Wireless Display/Miracast is required).

- Discover devices capable of screen mirroring within the current Wi-Fi network.

The app is really great! It can connect to laptops using Miracast, as well as TVs. I appreciate the quick response time, but I would recommend fixing the 1.5 second latency issue.

I didn't have time to try it out, but I've already seen 10 ads. It's okay to have ads, just not every time I click on something! There are so many ads that the app won't even start if the internet connection is weak, even though internet isn't necessary for screen mirroring. This is really bad.

This app is not good because the audio is delayed on my Sony TV. I have tried many things but the video often freezes.

This person was trying to make their new phone mirror with built-in features, as they had successfully done with other devices. They found Smart View in the system apps of the phone but couldn't launch it. After trying all the tricks from various tutorials online without success, they realized there might be an app for this. So, they found one within seconds, paid 99 cents, and gave it a 5-star rating. Now they are a happy camper without ads, only regretting not finding the app earlier.

The cable is not working properly. When you watch a video, there is no sound on the TV. If you are streaming something, the screen turns black.

I saw some doubtful reviews, but it actually works with my Note9. I connected it to my Microsoft wireless HDMI adapter, and my TV shows exactly what's on my phone, even though it shows vertically sometimes. When I watch YouTube videos in fullscreen on my phone, they also show fullscreen on the TV without any delay. Not bad at all. I'm not sure what more I could ask for.

Samsung's app is basically a helper for the smartview function already in the phone. It just adds an icon on your screen to launch it, with some ads. This could be handy for phones that support miracast but don't have a built-in button like Samsung.

I tried casting from my phone to my Android TV and it worked, even though not all smartphones are compatible. Although my phone didn't initially show the option in settings, I found out it was hidden and could be accessed through another app or intents. I'm pleased with the outcome. If your phone doesn't support casting to Android TV, you can do it after rooting your smartphone. Basically, any rooted phone can be casted to any smart TV.
