If you’re monitoring an Android, mLite supports all this:

Why aren’t I seeing updates in my parent account?

When you install mLite on the Child phone, the app requests various permissions. If you didn’t grant permissions properly, mLite can’t capture information on the device. Here’s how to make sure permissions are granted:

If your Child phone is an Android, open mLite on the Child phone > tap Settings > Permissions > Make sure that all permissions are granted > Restart Child phone.

Why is my child’s location not updating?

mLite uses an advanced algorithm to track the location of the Child phone by first checking for a GPS signal. If the signal is weak, mLite uses the CellID locating method. The CellID method approximates the target’s location by using information from nearby cell towers. If both methods fail, the signal will not get updated.

To make sure you’re receiving location updates, follow these steps:

If your Child phone is an Android, open Child phone Settings > Connections > Location > Make sure that Locations are enabled and set to High Accuracy.

If your Child phone is an iPhone, open Child phone Settings > Privacy > Locations Services > Make sure that Locations are enabled.
