ELD COMPLIANCE

The Motive Driver App simplifies the recording of Hours of Service (HOS) on Android devices, ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When paired with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, this app supports fleets and commercial drivers in meeting ELD mandate requirements. It also adheres to Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

By connecting the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth, users can maintain compliance through electronic logging for HOS. The app proactively notifies drivers when they are close to exceeding driving time limits to prevent violations. It displays total weekly hours worked, available Hours of Service for each day, and the subsequent day's availability.

Additionally, it offers an Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to officers during roadside inspections without compromising driver privacy.

How to install Motive Driver (ex KeepTruckin) on your Android device:

1.Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to Google Play.

2.Once the Motive Driver (ex KeepTruckin) is shown in the Google Play listing of your Android device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the Install button located below the search bar and to the right of the app icon.

3.A pop-up window with the permissions required by Motive Driver (ex KeepTruckin) will be shown. Click on Accept to continue the process.

4.Motive Driver (ex KeepTruckin) will be downloaded onto your device, displaying a progress. Once the download completes, the installation will start and you'll get a notification after the installation is finished.

TRACKING & TELEMATICS

Location data is shared with the Motive Fleet Dashboard when dispatched, providing real-time updates to dispatchers and fleet managers regarding stops and arrivals.

DRIVER SAFETY

Users can review Motive Dashcam videos and safety events to evaluate driving performance and access their DRIVE risk score compared to Motive's vehicle network.

DISPATCH & WORKFLOW

The app allows users to confirm and receive assigned dispatches, view load details, manage tasks for active deliveries, review past dispatches, and communicate directly with fleet managers or dispatchers. Users can also upload essential documents like bills of lading or accident photos.

MAINTENANCE

Complete pre-trip and post-trip driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) to report and monitor any vehicle defects effectively.

SUSTAINABILITY

Fuel receipts can be uploaded to generate fuel reports on the Motive Fleet Dashboard.
