FAQs

Do I need an account to place an order?

You don’t need an account to complete a purchase. However, if you register with us, you can enjoy the following benefits through your MR PORTER account:

- Track your orders and view previous purchases

- Request your exchange or return directly from your account

- Add items and sold out products to your Wish List

- Save your address and card details so you can shop even more quickly in future

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, request a link to reset it or follow the ‘Forgotten password?’ link on the ‘Sign in’ page.

What packaging options can I choose from?

   - Mr Porter Premium Packaging

Your first order will be delivered in one of our signature white boxes. Next time you shop, ‘Basic Packaging’ will be the default selection, where your items will arrive in a non-branded box. Both our packaging options are FSC- certified and recyclable.

   - Shoes

Orders consisting solely of shoes will be delivered in the original designer packaging and placed into a plain brown box.

   - Sale

All sale items will be delivered in basic packaging, which doesn’t include our signature MR PORTER box.

Exchanges and Returns

Try your purchase on in the comfort of your own home and let us know straightaway if you’d like a different size or a refund and we’ll collect from your home, work or an alternative address.

You have 28 days from receiving your order to: 

- Create your exchange or return here, or, if you are a registered user, by logging in your MR PORTER account.

- Take your return to your nearest drop off point or book your complimentary collection.

- Send your purchase back to us.

- If your order was delivered in multiple shipments, when arranging your return please do not combine items from different shipments.

- For Macau only: If the total return value is over 5,000 MOP, you are required to fill out the Export Declaration Form. To prevent any unnecessary delays, please obtain by your own the blank form on Macau Customs Service: fill it out and hand the original document (with 3 ply) to the courier when collecting your parcel.  This is how the completed Declaration Form should look like. Items must be returned to us unused with all MR PORTER tags and designer labels still attached. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you.

Need a different size or colour?

There’s no cost to exchange your purchase for an alternative size or colour (subject to availability when you request a return). Although if you’re based outside the EU, taxes and duties are applicable. If you wish to try another style, simply return it for a store credit refund and purchase the new item separately.
