What is MutuaMás?

MutuaMás is the new Superapp from Grupo Mutua that transforms the old Mutua app. With MutuaMás you can continue to manage all your Mutua insurance transactions such as filing a claim, roadside assistance, checking your receipts and, in addition , you can contract new services such as parking, parking meter, taxi, ITV... and much more. MutuaMás offers you the best conditions, products and discounts. How do I register?

Why does it tell me about ElParking when I register?

ElParking is the leading private mobility app from the Mutua Group . You can now find its services in MutuaMás with more advantages , such as the MutuaMás Bonus. If you have registered with the same email address that you had in ElParking, we will link your account and you will be able to see the products and vehicles that you had in ElParking in MutuaMás. In addition, if you had a balance in your wallet, you will now see it reflected in MutuaMás. If you have not registered with the same email address but are an ElParking user, contact us at 91 450 06 00 or write to us at ayuda@mutuamas.es so that we can help you. 

What email should I put?

You can register with MutuaMás with any valid email address you have . If you are already an ElParking user, you must use the same email address so that the products and services you have contracted with ElParking appear in Mutuamás. Remember that when you register, we will send you an email to complete the process, so make sure that this email address is working. And if you have any insurance contracted with Mutua, once we have verified your email address, we will ask for your ID so that you can link your insurance to your MutuaMás account.

How can I know if my ID is linked to my MutuaMás account?

You only need to link your ID to MutuaMás if you have contracted insurance from Mutua. If you have contracted insurance, go to the "My Products" section in the App menu. If you can see all the Mutua insurance there, your ID is linked correctly. If you cannot see your products, go to the "Account" section and click on "View or edit profile" and finally, on the blue banner to insert your ID. Do I have to register again every time I access MutuaMás?

Registration with MutuaMás is only required for the first time . Once you have done so, you will access Mutuamás with your email and password. Your data will be saved so that you do not have to enter it again on subsequent occasions.

Can I use the credentials I had at Mutua?

Even if you were already registered in the old Mutua app, to access the MutuaMás App you must link an email address , since from now on instead of your ID you will be able to access with your email address. Easier. You only need to link your ID to MutuaMás if you have contracted Mutua insurance. If you have contracted insurance, go to the "My Products" section in the App menu. If you can see all the Mutua Insurances there, your ID is linked correctly. If you cannot see your products, go to the "Account" section and click on "View or edit profile" and finally, on the blue banner to insert your ID. Which car to buy based on fuel?

If you are thinking about buying a car , the first thing to decide is the type of engine, which one suits you best will depend on the use you are going to give it. To help you in your decision we show you the advantages and disadvantages of the main options:

    Conventional: Gasoline and diesel

They run on a combustion engine that can be gasoline or diesel , without any electrical assistance.

They have a wide variety of offers and prices, and their autonomy and ease of refueling are their main advantages.

However, they are less environmentally friendly and, depending on new municipal legislation, they may be affected by restrictive measures on traffic and parking in cities.

    Hybrid (HEV)

They work with a combination of a combustion engine and an electric assistance system. They have a small self-rechargeable battery.

Its advantages include easy refuelling and the ability to obtain the ECO label , which, with new municipal legislation, increases the possibilities of circulation and parking in urban areas.

However, the price of the car is higher compared to the same conventional range.

    Plug-in hybrid (PHEV)

They work with the combination of a combustion engine, mainly gasoline, and a medium-sized electric motor, which is recharged by connecting to the electrical grid and which allows driving over short and medium distances (~60km) in 100% electric mode.

Among its advantages is obtaining the ZERO label . With electric autonomy, many drivers will be able to cover their mobility needs without going to a gas station, simply recharging every night at a power outlet, in this case their consumption will be reduced.

One aspect to bear in mind is that there are no limits on autonomy over long distances, although, as they are heavier due to their mechanical complexity, their consumption will be higher. It is also necessary to consider that the price of the car will be high.

    Electric (BEV)

They operate with one or more electric motors and a battery that stores electricity. Their advantages include efficiency, as well as obtaining the ZERO label . They are the most environmentally friendly cars.

They are a good option for moving mainly around the city or interurban distances or if you have a second vehicle.

However, its higher price than combustion vehicles, and the change in the way it is refuelled, which requires identifying charging points and planning charging times, are its main drawbacks.

Which car to buy based on its use?

There are as many ways to use a car as there are people, so the variety of options available on the market serves to provide solutions for different types of drivers:

    Urban travel or if you have access to a charging point

If your journeys are mainly urban or interurban and it would be useful to benefit from ECO or ZERO labels to increase the possibilities of circulation and parking in urban areas, think about hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric cars .

The degree of electrification will depend primarily on whether you have access to charging points, whether you make long trips on holidays or weekends, as well as the price you are willing to pay for the vehicle.

In addition, this type of car will offer you advantages when accessing low-emission urban areas.

    Long journeys

If you usually travel long distances, you don't travel in urban areas or crowded cities, you're not interested in the DGT's ECO/ZERO label and/or reducing noise and emissions is not an important factor for you, a conventional petrol or diesel car may be a good option. In addition, it will be more economical in the short term.

What are the advantages of renting a car?

Renting is a way of renting a vehicle for the period of time stipulated in the contracts.

Among its advantages is that you pay a fixed amount, without extras such as taxes, insurance or MOT or surprises such as breakdowns, inspections, tire changes... Flexibility is also another aspect to take into account, it allows you to change cars in short periods so you can adapt the car to your circumstances and tastes at any time.
