Sure, I just had to share this with you - what a surreal moment! So, imagine this scenario: I happen to glance at my phone and, at that very instant, a bright flash of lightning illuminates the sky. And get this, my phone lets out a beep right then too. Plus, can you believe it? The map on my device is so precise, down to about three-quarters of a meter! That's just beyond cool. I mean, we definitely need more apps from this awesome developer, right?

That's great to hear! I've found it really useful during storms. I actually added another lightning tracker and switch between them; they work well together. The interface is easy to use and very intuitive. Thank you! I'm interested in knowing more about how accurate the location marking of a lightning strike is and at which height the information is collected. For example, lightning can travel quite a distance from the cloud to the ground - is the measurement taken in the atmosphere or on the ground? Thank you once again!

Thank you for the kind words! Tampa, Florida is where I am located and where I provide support for a youth football and cheer program. This app is our primary tool for deciding if it's safe to practice. I bought the pro version at a fair price to support the developers for creating such a great product. It would be awesome if we could type in our facility's address to see the impact zone without having to visit, but even without that, it's still a top-notch app. Great job!

Sure, you can adjust the opacity of the radar to see through it better. It's also not zooming in on the most recent strikes, so we need to set that up properly. To make new strikes easier to spot, we should come up with a more distinct way to designate them. It would be helpful to have the option to track multiple locations like your current location, home, and second home. Perhaps we could use red and gray markers for these different locations on the radar. Additionally, it would be great if we could pause the radar at the current moment and then play forward without having to go back to the beginning each time.

The data should be trustworthy. Sometimes it appears to show many strikes that didn't happen. It doesn't match with other sources I rely on. I've looked outside and not seen any strikes despite the data showing otherwise.

This app is good. It's not perfect all the time, but it's the best one I've come across. I've been using it for years. The developers respond promptly and fix things when problems are reported. I suggest this app for receiving quick lightning notifications. It works well when used alongside other similar services for comparison.

We decided to download the app mainly for playing golf. It works well and gives us cool information whenever we open it. We live close to the Wasatch Mountains and seem to experience "thunder snow" more often than we thought.

You tried everything – uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared cache, checked permissions, notifications, and more. Despite all this, you still aren't receiving notifications. The radar works fine for showing rain and lightning accurately, but you have to manually open the app to see updates. It would be really helpful to receive notifications instead.
