Finding the right workout app can be tough. There are so many options out there, each promising to transform your fitness journey. As a self-confessed workout planning addict and data nerd, I’m always on the hunt for tools to help me optimise my gym time. I decided to take My Workout Plan for a spin, and I’ve got some thoughts to share.

User Experience: I found the app incredibly user-friendly. The interface is clean and navigating through the app’s features felt intuitive. Whether you’re setting up a workout, tracking your progress, or just exploring exercises, everything is easy to find and use.

    This workout tracker is really good. I just wish I could add notes to my exercises and see past days' weights more easily. However, the app is simple, user-friendly, and has a lot of exercises in its library. I'm not sure if the paid version has what I need, but I might give it a shot.

    Great news! I've been searching forever for this app because I didn't know all the exercises I could do with my equipment. The best part is that it's free! You can choose the muscle group and equipment you have to create a custom workout just for you. I've shared this amazing find with all my coworkers, and they've downloaded the app too. I couldn't be happier with this discovery!

    I am enjoying using this app as it makes it easy to keep track of my workouts. It allows me to have up to 6 different routines without needing to upgrade to premium. It also offers a wide range of exercises already in the app, although more could be added. I have some suggestions for how the app could be enhanced: the notification bar looks old-fashioned. There is no option to undo a set if you mistakenly press ❌️ or ✅️. It would be helpful to have a timer available during the workout to see how long the session has been going on.

    This fitness app is the top choice without a doubt. If you want ready workouts, check out other apps. But if you enjoy creating your own routines, this app is like a dream come true. There are tons of workout options for all muscle groups and various equipment like bands, benches, and kettlebells. Plus, there are no annoying ads popping up during your workouts. This app is just fantastic!

    I really don't get why every fitness place doesn't tell you about this app. Most apps do either too much or too little, but this one allows you to create your own workouts, go at your own speed, and gives you useful reminders. It even has a great feature where you can control your workout from the notification bar while using another app. It's really cool!

    The app is great because it has lots of workout options and helps you track your progress. However, with the free version, you can only have one workout routine at a time. To have more than one, you need to upgrade to a pro membership. One way around this is to share your routine with friends or the app community and then add a new one if necessary.

    The exercises in this app are amazing, especially for those of us working out at home. However, it's quite frustrating that you can't easily go back and view your progress on a specific exercise. Even checking the exercise list requires adding it to a workout first. And saving a complete workout plan is a hassle – there's a risk of losing all your data. It would be much smoother if any changes made to a plan were automatically saved, without disappearing when you switch to a new plan.

    I am really enjoying using the app, it is so helpful! I especially appreciate the countdown beep, gifs, and the feature that lets me rearrange my workout routine. However, I think there are some improvements that could be made. The exercise database is lacking basic sit up instructions, which would be great to have. What I really wish for is an option that shows what exercise is coming up next - this would be extremely beneficial. Sometimes I transition too quickly between exercises and end up missing out on time. Having a preview of what's next would be very useful. Additionally, more editing capabilities would be nice, like the ability to duplicate a superset and adjust rest times after they have been set.
