Despite this starting point, however, the work of the Fastweb developers has been long and meticulous and the team has tried to refine the system's potential as much as possible, developing new solutions to respond coherently to user requests, even in the case of particularly complex or articulated questions.
FastwebAI will be present on the homepage of Fastweb.it and will be ready to provide targeted answers to all the people who visit the site intending to become new customers of the company.
Of course, the chatbot for the commercial offer is only the first step that in the next few months will lead to the complete evolution of the platform with an AI system capable of providing 360° customer support and will be able to respond promptly to any type of request from users and, above all, will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Furthermore, in parallel with the customer support tool, Fastweb is also developing the corresponding software to support customer care operators, to assist them in carrying out their tasks and to provide them with all the tools to work at their best.

Keeping your telephone number, after deciding to switch to Fastweb, is extremely easy and brings you many exclusive advantages.
By going to a Fastweb Point of Sale: to enter the world of Fastweb Mobile you can go to a Fastweb store, choose the offer that best suits your needs and request to keep your old number (Mobile Number Portability). To do this you will need to fill out the following MNP request form.
If the operations are successful, the offer will be activated within 24 hours.
By calling 146: by calling our toll-free number (active from both landlines and mobile phones) you will have the opportunity to speak to an operator who will guide you in choosing the offer best suited to your needs and will give you the necessary support for the administrative part related to your personal data.
Via the Fastweb website: through the website you have the opportunity to choose and subscribe to the offer you prefer. To continue with your old telephone number in the transition to Fastweb Mobile, just click YES to the question "Do you already have a mobile number and want to keep it?" and fill in the appropriate spaces (N.B.: the serial number of the SIM is indicated on the back of the SIM itself).
SIM activation and mobile number portability
If you sign up for the offer via 146 or the Internet site, you will receive your SIM and smartphone, if you purchased one, within 7 working days. We will keep you updated via SMS on delivery times.
We inform you that the SIM you will receive will require a validation process to be activated.
To validate the SIM you will need to perform an identification procedure. The SIM will then be activated within 48 hours of validation. You will find all the information needed to carry out these steps in the documentation attached to the SIM that you will receive at home.
If you have requested the portability of your old mobile number (MNP) to your new SIM, you will receive an SMS with a link to confirm your request. The expected times for the conclusion of the portability processes are 48 hours from the confirmation of the portability request made via SMS.

If you have opted for a Fastweb rechargeable card, you can request the transfer of the residual credit to the new SIM (any costs of the operation will be charged to you by your old operator).
If, on the other hand, your choice has been directed towards a subscription tariff plan, after having made the request, the residual credit will be credited to your Fastweb invoice within the first billing cycle (any costs of the operation will be charged to you by your old operator).
How Fastweb arrives at your home
All Fastweb activations are carried out in compliance with all regulations related to the spread of Coronavirus, respecting safety distances and the necessary equipment, i.e. gloves and masks. Even at this time, the protection of our customers always comes first.

The information you find is the same that our Customer Service operators provide you. To avoid telephone waits, we recommend that you also access Fastweb Support from the MyFastweb App.
Fastweb brings its services to your home through two technologies: Fiber Optics and Copper ADSL. Once you have subscribed to Fastweb services, the activation of the two technologies follows slightly different paths.
Here are specified all the phases that will bring Fastweb to your home for connections in Mixed Fiber Copper (FTTN) or Copper ADSL, if your home is reached by Fastweb services on Fiber Optic technology up to your home (GPON / FTTH) click on the button below dedicated to you (the button on the left) to view your path.
