Users can download remote control settings directly from the database or download page provided in the app. Configuration settings should specify the use of the built-in IR sensor for the dongle type. (LG phone users are advised to upgrade to Lollipop and install the QRemote application if issues arise.)

* For devices without built-in IR sensors:

Utilization of the My Remote Control X dongle is required for transmission purposes.

* For creating custom remote controls using key learning technology:

Regardless of having a built-in IR sensor, the My Remote Control X dongle is necessary as a receiver device.

- Compatible Phones with Built-In IR Sensors -

Devices such as Samsung S4, S5, S6, Note3, Note4, LG G2, G3, G4, G5, V10, V20, etc., can be used seamlessly without the need for a dongle. Some Xiaomi models also provide compatibility.

- Note: Many modern phones do not possess built-in IR sensors.

How to install MyRemocon (IR Remote Control) on your Android device:

Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to Google Play.

Once the MyRemocon (IR Remote Control) is shown in the Google Play listing of your Android device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the Install button located below the search bar and to the right of the app icon.

A pop-up window with the permissions required by MyRemocon (IR Remote Control) will be shown. Click on Accept to continue the process.
