Introducing Namaz vaxtı

The Namaz time program is a program that shows prayer and fasting times for cities and regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The program works in offline mode, no internet connection is required. It can be used for both prayer times and Ramadan calendar (fasting - suhoor and iftar times).

The times are taken from the website qafqazislam.com (the official website of the Caucasian Muslims Office).

When first opened, prayer times for today in Baku are displayed, you can select another city/region from the list on the top left. Select "Read Azan" in the program to listen to the call to prayer.

You can share the program on Facebook or other social networks using the Share button below.

In the program, you can determine the direction of the Qibla with the Qibla compass (if the phone has a compass sensor).

In the Settings section, you can make the following choices:

1) Select different call to prayer sounds and alert sounds

2) Choose when to play the call to prayer

3) Select to display suhoor and midnight times

Using Guide

Namaz Vaxtı is a mobile application tailored to individuals in Azerbaijan who follow the Islamic faith, providing an accurate schedule for daily prayer (namaz) and fasting times, particularly during Ramadan. It is valuable for those observing the five daily prayers and for tracking the Suhoor (imsak) and Iftar times, enhancing their spiritual practice and discipline.

One standout feature is the app's offline functionality, which means users can access prayer times without the need for an internet connection. Upon initial launch, it displays today's prayer times for Baku, but it's easy to select any other city or region from a dropdown menu to accommodate users wherever they may be located within Azerbaijan.

In addition to the prayer schedule, the app features an Azan tool that notifies users when it's time to pray by playing the traditional call to prayer. The times provided are sourced directly from the official website of the Caucasus Muslim Board, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.

The application also includes a built-in Qibla compass, a valuable tool for Muslims to locate the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca for their prayers, providing guidance and aid in fulfilling their religious duties.

Users will appreciate the customization options, enabling them to select different Azan sounds, specify which prayers they want to be notified for, and choose to display the times for imsak and midnight. Sharing with friends and family on social media is seamless with the integrated sharing button, potentially creating a sense of community and shared religious commitment.

Namaz Vaxtı proves to be an essential tool for believers in maintaining their religious observance with convenience and accuracy. The combination of its features meets perfectly with the needs of the faithful, contributing to a more focused and disciplined spiritual life.

The Importance of Namaz

Namaz is a structured form of worship that involves specific rituals and timings. It serves multiple purposes:

Spiritual Connection: Namaz helps Muslims maintain a continuous connection with Allah, reinforcing their faith and devotion.

Discipline and Routine: The practice of praying at prescribed times throughout the day instills discipline and encourages a structured lifestyle.

Reflection and Guidance: Through its recitations and physical postures, Namaz provides an opportunity for reflection, seeking guidance, and expressing gratitude.

The Structure of Namaz

Namaz consists of several key components, including:

Takbir al-Ihram: The opening declaration of “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is the Greatest) marks the beginning of the prayer.

Qiyam: Standing and reciting verses from the Quran.

Ruku: Bowing down in humility.

Sujood: Prostrating with the forehead touching the ground, symbolizing total submission.

Tashahhud: Sitting and reciting specific supplications.

Tasleem: The final salutation, concluding the prayer.

Thank you. It's a great program. Could you please add an option for selecting monthly prayer times when updating next time, or perhaps an option to select the prayer times of any desired day? It would be really nice. Good luck...

Hello. The call to prayer is recited, lasting for about two seconds before stopping abruptly. It does not show the remaining time in the Hijri calendar. How can this be fixed so that the call to prayer does not cut off halfway? I would appreciate it if you could take a look into this matter. Thank you very much.
