Sure. You can delete NAVER Antivirus by doing the following.

 *Please note that once you delete NAVER Antivirus, all your scan results, Real-Time Monitoring history and engine will be deleted completely.

1. Start your device

2. Go to your Home screen.

3. Start the NAVER Antivirus app

4. Tap the Delete button on the NAVER Antivirus information screen

5. At the app deletion screen, tap OK

How do I switch Real-Time Monitoring ON/OFF and configure the automatic engine updates?

ANDROID

1. Start NAVER Antivirus and tap the [Settings] icon.

2. Go to [Settings] > [Real-Time Monitoring]

- You can switch Real-Time Monitoring ON or OFF: If you switch this on, you can check the reports from the Real-Time Monitoring menu.

- Notifications for Real-Time Monitoring: Alerts you of any high-risk/suspicious events through your device’s notification functions, when switched on. (You will need to have Real-Time Monitoring switched on to receive these notices)

How do I set up the widget?

ANDROID

You can set up a widget for NAVER Antivirus by doing the following:

(Please note that the steps may vary depending on which device you are using)

1. Either press and hold the Home screen or tap the icon to display the app list.

Select either [Add and personalize] or [Apps & Widgets]

2. Tap the [Widgets] tab and select NAVER Antivirus from the list of applications.

3. Choose the screen and position you wish to set the NAVER Antivirus widget to complete the widget setup.

How do I scan for malware?

ANDROID

You can use NAVER Antivirus to scan for apps on your device which have been altered or infected with malware by doing the following:

1. Install NAVER Antivirus and select [Scan]

2. The antivirus engine will be updated to the newest version automatically if you are connected to a network. If you have no network connectivity, your engine will not be updated.

*If you would like to run a scan with the existing engine, tap [Scan] > [Scan with existing engine].

3. NAVER Antivirus will scan for apps infected with malware.

4. After scanning for malware, the program will scan for any altered apps. However, if your device is not connected to a network, the program will not run a scan for altered apps.

5. After the scan has finished, you will be shown the results. The results list will contain apps which have been infected with malware and altered apps if any are discovered. You can choose to delete such apps from the list.

Tip: NAVER Antivirus offers 2 types of scan (full scan/quick scan).

Quick Scan will scan the installed apps for malware and alterations, while Full Scan will scan both installed and uninstalled apps, and files to get rid of any malware.
