Accessing from Naver Home
1. When you access Naver's main page, the focus is on the search query editing window.
2. Press the up or down arrow key to move the cursor away from the editing window, and then press the shortcut (S) to the next list element. This area is where you see Naver's main menu, and it is grouped into two lists.
3. Select the 'More' button just after the main menu. Then, all items belonging to Naver's main services will appear below. Note that 'More' is a toggle element, so if you press it again, the list of key services will be closed.
4. If you press H a few times, you will find '-' heading 3, and you can see a list of key services via the down arrow key.
5. The note corresponds to '', so press the down arrow key several times to move it. When you're focused on a note, use the Enter key to select the link.
Naver Memo Screen Structure
Before Logging In
Past the common menu related to notes, 'Lock it tightly, check it quickly!' You can check the introductory banner area for Naver Memo such as. Banners are in a rolling state, and you can make a specific banner appear on the screen by clicking the Show Previous/Next Banner button below the Intro banner or the View each banner button after the rolling banner. (Screen readers will recognize all banners.)
After the announcement, there is an introduction area of 'Naver Memo'. If you focus on the last element while navigating with a screen reader, the focus will return to the beginning of the introductory area.
After logging in
When you access a note, the focus is in the editing window, where you can enter a new note.
The overall screen structure of NAVER Memo consists of the main menu of the memo, the secondary menu for viewing skins and titles, and the body area where the search and memo contents are displayed.
The main memo menu is divided into filter areas such as Important Notes, Diary, Embedded Links, and All Notes, and notes folder areas such as Shopping and Ideas.
You can use the 'Toggle Service Menu Expand/Collapse' link at the beginning of the text to toggle the above memo service main menu so that it does not appear.
Just below the notes search area, you'll see text that tells you which folder you're in, such as "All notes or shopping."
Take notes
There are two ways to create a note: by selecting a new note from the main menu of Naver Memo and by selecting a folder.
The Write Notes area and the Created Notes list area are always displayed together, and when the option menus such as Note Color and Save are expanded, the Memo List collapses, and when the Notes List is expanded, the various option menus in the Memo Creation Area are collapsed.
When the Memo Options menu is expanded, it displays the list of notes in the currently accessed folder instead of the folder list in the main menu area.
In Create a New Note, you'll see all the options you need to create a note, so you can immediately select options such as assigning a folder or writing it in the form of a diary note.
The expand link below the notes field serves to show or hide the note options.
You can also create notes if you enter a folder such as shopping or ideas, and it will be saved in the default entered folder.
When you enter the folder, the menu of options required for creating a note is collapsed, and if you expand it, you can change the options that were used to create a new note. To expand the notes options, you must have text in the notes field.
If the editing options are expanded, the note will be auto-saved even if you do not click Save, and if you create a note with the editing options collapsed and then close the page without pressing Save, it will be in a draft state.
When editing, you can use shortcuts such as Revert (Ctrl + Z) and Cut (Ctrl + X).
Just above the note editing window is the number of characters currently written.
Creating a note in Create a New Note
Basic Memo
In the note-taking area, there are two tabs where you can choose whether you want to write in a note format or a diary format. By default, the Notes tab, which is written in the form of a note, is selected.
Below that, 'My Notes' is the name of the folder where the note will be stored, and when you press enter, a list of folders will appear where you can change the storage location. When you select the desired folder, the created notes are saved to the selected folder, the screen returns to the original folder, and the editing window contains the most recent notes.
If you want to change the current folder instead of the save location, you can change the location by clicking the Current Folder (e.g. Test) link under the main menu area of the note.
Tap 'Delete' to delete a note you're writing, and 'Add' to create a new note.
Writing in diary format
Enter the content of the note Select the diary from the Notes and Diary tabs above the edit window. You will then see a link where you can select a date before the Enter Comment edit window.
By default, the current date is selected, and pressing Enter on a date opens a layer where you can change the date.
You can access the date table directly by pressing the shortcut t to go to the next table, where you can select the date, and you can change the year/month directly above the table.
Within a table, you can move row and column by row using Ctrl + Alt + arrow keys to navigate through the table, and you can also hear the date and corresponding day of the week each time you move through a cell.
Give your notes a title
When you take a note, you can have the first line as the heading.
At the top of the note page, press the Move by heading (H) key a few times to go to the "Memo body content."
If you press the up arrow key, you will see "Enlarge titles." This button is a toggle button, and if you press it once, the first line will be the title if you enter multiple lines, and if you press it again, it will be released, so that there is no distinction between the title areas. Default is off.
Even if Enlarge Title is selected, you will not be able to enter separate title areas unless the editing options in the comment input area are expanded.
If you type a note with Enlarge Title selected and the "Create a new note" or the Note option expanded, the first line will automatically be the title as you type more than one line, and the editing window will be split into two.
Headings, body notes, and notes can be accessed with the arrow keys and tab keys.
Entering Notes with Reduced Editing Options
When entering each folder without entering 'Create New Note' or when creating a note on the note initialization surface, the editing area is in a collapsed state. Here, when you start taking a note, you'll see only three links: Save, Cancel, and Expand Edit Area.
If the editing area is minimized, you must press Save to save the note you are writing. Otherwise, as described above, it will be temporarily saved, and the note you were writing will always be in the edit window when you move the folder to another location or reconnect the next time.
While taking a note, press the Tab key and press Enter in 'Expand' to expand the editing area.
Compared to other memo services, there are the following problems.
When the entered information is temporarily saved, the space between letters (character spacing) changes.
If you cut and paste the text, the text background color becomes white. To prevent this, you need to press Ctrl+Shift+V (on a computer) or the 'Paste as Plain Text' button (on a phone).
If you press Enter just once to change a line and press BACKSPACE to delete it, it will not be deleted at once, but you will have to press BACKSPACE several times as if there are several blank lines.
Spaces may be missing when a memo edited on a PC is loaded on a mobile device.
Even if you log out of the Naver Memo app and then log in again, synchronization is not possible. In this case, the only option is to delete the data and log in again.
It does not provide a backup function to save your notes as an offline file on your computer.
