# Download NHS APP #
First of all, I have to say that the NHS APP is currently mainly for England, and friends in other regions cannot use it for the time being.
However, the English government has strengthened cooperation with the governments of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, striving to make friends across the UK use the service as soon as possible.
Search for [NHS App] in the app store of your mobile phone to find the software and download it.
It should be noted that:
There is also an [NHS Covid-19 App] that looks very similar to this one, so don't download the wrong one.
If you can't find it in the app store, you can try to adjust the mobile phone region or Apple ID region to England, and you can basically find it.
# Register NHS APP #
After downloading, enter the APP to start registration.
1. Set email and password
First enter the email (preferably an overseas email) and register.
After the email is approved, we can set the password.
2. Verify
After that, you need to verify our email and mobile phone. NHS will send verification codes to our email and mobile phone in turn, and fill them in according to the order of the following figure.
After that, we need to verify our personal identity. In this step, we need to select verification materials that can prove our identity. Passports, driver's licenses and other materials are all acceptable.
Let's take the passport as an example. First, upload a scan of the first page of the passport.
Then you need to record a short video of yourself for verification.
The APP will show our four numbers. You can choose to read them out, make gestures or write them on paper to show them, and record a short video.
3. Find NHS records
This step will have two different processes for whether you know your NHS number.
First, if you know your NHS number, click "Yes" and then enter your NHS number, postal code, birthday and other information.
If you don't know your NHS number, select "No" and then enter your name, birthday, registered GP postal code and other information.
After all the information is filled in, confirm it. After confirmation, you can submit it!
Then you just have to wait patiently. NHS needs 24 hours to review the information. After the review is passed, you can happily log in to the NHS APP.
# NHS APP Vaccination Record View #
After completing the above registration, you can use your account and password to log in to the NHS App to view and download vaccination records.
For specific operation methods, please refer to the figure below after logging in.
In addition to viewing the vaccination record on the APP, you can also download the PDF version of the vaccination record (which can also be printed out) and use it as a "vaccination certificate".
Access to NHS App services is also available through the NHS website on a computer.
Access NHS Services
Utilize the NHS App to conveniently access a variety of NHS services at any time and from anywhere. This includes requesting repeat prescriptions, using 111 online, locating nearby NHS services, and more. Depending on your GP surgery, you may also have the option to schedule appointments and communicate with your surgery regarding health concerns.
Health Management
The NHS App offers a convenient method to review your GP health record, which includes test results. You can manage your upcoming appointments, prescription requests, and even make decisions about your health, such as organ donation preferences.
Message Receipt
Receive significant messages from your GP surgery and other NHS services via the app. Enabling notifications will keep you informed of any new messages received.
Proxy Service Management
Switch profiles within the NHS App to access services for individuals like children or family members. Permission from your GP surgery is required, and both parties must share the same surgery.
Secure Login
The NHS App will assist you in setting up an NHS login if you do not already have one. Identity verification is part of the process. Once established, the app securely connects to information from your NHS services. Users with compatible devices such as iPhone or iPad supporting Touch ID or Face ID can use these features for effortless logins each time the app is accessed.
