The game sometimes freezes

No Way To Die is a free offline post-apocalyptic survival game where players must navigate through a world plagued by mutant creatures and zombies. The game begins as your character wakes up in a secret bunker years after an asteroid strike on Earth, possessing the unique ability to regenerate upon death with all memories intact. Tasked by the bunker's artificial intelligence to explore the surface and eradicate threats, players must scavenge for resources, craft weapons, and fortify their shelter against nightly attacks from enemies.

Gameplay

However, post-apocalyptic life will be extremely difficult and it requires the high viability of survivors. There are very few remaining resources, not much water, food, wood, and especially the existence of dangerous mysterious creatures.

To survive as long as possible, players need to start by building a safe shelter, storing lots of food, and exploring many places to collect resources for crafting weapons. Pay attention to the physical parameters related to health because this is a realistic survival struggle and you can die if you are hungry, thirsty, or lose too much blood. Mushrooms, berries, or animal meat are essential foods that players can find in the forest. Of course, the meat will be much better and more rewarding, but you can trade your life to have it.

They are necessary tools for characters to perform basic operations such as shooting, building, cutting wood.

Players can observe the whole game’s progress, the character’s activities, and the surrounding context easily on the horizontal screen of the phone. The graphics are simple, but the game still gives you the same exciting experience as more advanced ones. Since it's an offline game, you don't have to worry about getting cut off from a network. Plus, it doesn't use up your phone battery. I'm really happy about that!

The game I tried was not complete, but it was enjoyable nonetheless! At the beginning, I faced some challenges with how the game worked. However, after playing for an hour, I got used to it and decided to start afresh. Up until level 13, I have noticed a couple of issues. Some important workbenches need parts that I can't create at my current level. Even though I can construct a workbench at level 12, I cannot produce the needed component until level 35, which is quite a significant gap in this game. This specific component is extremely rare.

There's so much potential in this game! It would be great to have pets, vehicles, and farming features added. It'd be awesome if we could grow our own food too. It would also be nice to visit and raid other players' houses. More zones and dungeons with collectible items to decorate our bases with would be a cool addition. The game lacks a chat function which is unfortunate. Additionally, the PC version needs key mapping for gaming mouse and keyboard. Despite these shortcomings, I've invested money into the game and think it's been worth it thanks to the reasonable prices. I'll give it a 5-star rating once more developments are made.

I have spent countless hours playing this game. I've reached the highest level and acquired the best gear. Currently, there seem to be few updates, making the experience less enjoyable. This game holds great promise, with the potential for additional equipment, new locations to discover, and fresh gaming features. Interacting with fellow players would elevate the gameplay even further. Picture the ability to visit each other's bases, join forces for defense, and engage in trading. While some believe the game is no longer thriving, who's to say that transformation is impossible?

The game has basic graphics but it’s great for collecting resources and offers more places to discover as you progress. If you die, you can get back your items, but some might be damaged or another player could take them. There's a neat little town where you can trade extra stuff, but the prices change each day based on what people need. It doesn't constantly pressure you to spend money like many games do. It has both PvE (player vs. environment) and PvP (player vs. player) zones. I play it on Blue Stacks on my Windows PC with no issues.
