Beginner's Guide:

#Importing materials

After launching the App, click the red "+" sign to create a layer and import materials. In addition to media such as videos and images, you can also add layers such as shapes and fills.

#Adding properties

After adding materials, you can see the interface shown in the figure above.

- Each layer has a transform property by default.

- Drag the UI area to change its position.

- Click Transform to change its open state. After closing, the UI will no longer be displayed.

- Each property window contains various parameters.

- Drag the parameter number to adjust the value.

- Click the parameter number to enter the edit mode and enter the value directly.

- Click the parameter name to open the keyframe bar. At this time, changing the value will automatically add a keyframe.

- Click the "+" sign to add properties (special effects, masks, speed changes, etc.).

- Drag the preview timeline to preview the material.

- Click Help to view the help document in the App.

#Editing Timeline

Continue to add a video material, and then click the root node. At this time, we can edit the timeline.

- Click the icon on the left to open the timeline editor.

- Drag the item to change its time position.

- Move the preview cursor to the position you want to edit, and click the scissors icon to edit the video.

- Change the stretch value to slow down or increase the video speed.

#Exporting

- Click the "Export" icon in the lower left corner to enter the export interface.

- Click the "Triangle" icon to start exporting and wait for it to complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Video playback is lagging

NodeVideo's main function is "synthesis" rather than "editing". So there is a caching process, that is, rendering once, and the second playback will be smooth when the progress bar turns green.

- The music and video are out of sync during preview because of rendering. The second playback is synchronized.

- Re-rendering is required after any changes.

2. The exported video is very small and has black edges

Please select the root node and adjust the [Scale] to match your video

3. Only one layer is playing during preview

Please change the preview rendering mode to all layers in the project settings.
