The app puts your entire banking experience at your fingertips, allowing you to conduct most of your transactions quickly, effortlessly, and securely.

You can explore the demo version of the app without needing to log in. Simply access it via the Menu before signing in. Please note that all information in this demo is fictional.

Here are some of the features available in the app:

YOUR OVERVIEW

In the Overview section, you can manage all your financial activities from a single location. You have the ability to add, hide or rearrange items to customize your experience. Quick actions allow direct access to various functions, including Search, which helps you locate what you need. If you also hold accounts with other banks, you can integrate them for a more comprehensive view of your finances.

PAYMENTS AND TRANSFERS

Easily pay bills and transfer funds between your own accounts or to others. Additionally, you can set up and manage direct debits, streamlining your daily financial tasks.

MANAGE YOUR CARDS

Link cards and wearables to Google Pay for contactless transactions. If you forget your PIN, you can retrieve it here. There’s also an option to block your card if necessary, and we will automatically issue you a new one. Control where your credit card can be used geographically and limit online shopping for added safety and oversight on your payments.

SAVINGS AND INVESTMENTS

Keep an eye on your savings progress and performance easily. Start saving regularly, trade funds and stocks, or set specific savings goals. Discover new investment opportunities through Find Investments.

FAQ

What is a NemKonto – and why do you need it?

You will need a ‘NemKonto’ (‘Easy Account’) to receive payments from Danish public institutions such as tax refunds or social welfare payments. A NemKonto connects your CPR-number with the bank account to ensure that such payments go to the right person. Your Nordea account can easily be set up to be a NemKonto.

What is a CPR number?

The CPR (Central Person Register) number is a Danish civil registration number and you will need it to receive your salary, get insurance and use the Danish health services. If you do not have a CPR number yet, you will need to make an appointment at a Citizen Service Centre to get one.

What is MitID?

MitID is a digital ID that you use to communicate with the public sector in Denmark, for online banking and in some cases when shopping online. MitID works through an app for smartphones and tablets.

You will need MitID to access digital post from the public sector (e-boks.dk), tax information (skat.dk), health information (sundhed.dk) etc.

You can get MitID by downloading the app and following the instructions under ‘Get MitID using passport’ or by booking an appointment at a Citizen Service Centre

    The app works well overall. However, the invoice scanning feature stopped recognizing codes after recent updates. It's been two months since my scanner for invoices stopped working. Everything else operates as expected.

    Just saw the latest update, but logon still fails. A couple of issues are still there. When making a payment, the "Message" gets deleted. What's up with that? Also, there's no account balance shown for each transaction. That's another hassle. There are several small points too. Access to transaction details remains limited. Once a payment is completed, getting details becomes a real headache. The lack of transactional balances definitely adds to the frustration. On the bright side, transferring between my own accounts works smoothly, and logging in doesn't require NemID. That's a win.

    The app has gotten so slow and frustrating to use. It feels like a nightmare now. I can't understand how anyone could think this is an improvement. This is the worst mobile banking app I've ever encountered. It wasn’t great before, but now it’s just shameful. It’s disappointing that some people get paid for making things worse. Please don't reach out to me. I don’t want any emails after sharing my honest thoughts. Just do better!

    The integration with MitID is completely broken. Trying to approve a transaction just brings up a JSON string filled with a SHA hash and some random information. Opening the MitID app manually allows me to approve the transaction, but the NORDEA app doesn't pick up on that at all. It’s incredibly frustrating.

    After the latest update, logging in became impossible. A message popped up saying, "Redirection ongoing, please click the continue button if you are not redirected within a few seconds." It just kept loading on that page. Clicking the continue button only sent me back to the login page. Frustrating!

    The update feels fantastic! The user interface is so much friendlier and straightforward. The new currency converter is a wonderful addition. It would be great to see it support even more countries though.

    Wow, another update and it’s causing issues again. Force close on Android 9? That’s frustrating! I thought things would be better this time. Got so annoyed, dropped my rating but decided to give it another shot with three stars. First thing I tried was troubleshooting when it didn’t work. Fingers crossed you don’t break it even more next time! Thanks for listening!

    This app is so frustrating. Information updates way too slowly. I have to keep checking my account status. The app said my bills were paid, so I transferred money between accounts for another bill. Out of nowhere, there wasn't enough money in the account because the info didn’t reflect the latest update. My new bill got stopped. Now, I must delete that bill and start the whole process over again. What a hassle!
