A password manager to help you access different sites

Norton Identity Safe, a robust application, stands as a comprehensive solution for managing complex, unique passwords across numerous platforms. Its main purpose is to provide users with a secure and encrypted online vault where they can store and manage their passwords, helping to ensure personal information remains protected.

One of the key advantages of this app is the single-tap access. This feature allows for a seamless login experience to various websites and apps as it automatically fills in your stored credentials with just a tap. Compatibility with devices such as computers, tablets, and phones, alongside the ability to sync passwords across all these platforms, means users can access their vault from virtually anywhere.

The service emphasizes user privacy with zero-knowledge encryption, meaning sensitive data is encrypted before being stored, with no access even by the service provider. This encryption, paired with two-factor authentication, enhances security against potential cyber threats. Android device users can benefit from biometric unlock features for quicker access.

Not only does the app store passwords, but it also assists in generating and assessing them. It encourages the creation of stronger passwords and replacement of weak ones, further solidifying online security.

The service is offered free of charge, which is an attractive feature for those seeking a balance between functionality and cost-efficiency. Notably, the free version reserves the right to impose restrictions on the number of entries.

Overall, Norton Identity Safe serves as an indispensable tool for anyone looking to streamline their digital security protocols while maintaining ease of access across multiple devices. It underlines the importance of safeguarding digital identities, making it a top recommendation for safe online navigation and password management.

Always on the move, I've stuck with Norton since before Symantec. There are two things I desire but they tend to be out of reach whenever I go to use them. One is a secure antivirus, and that seems to be functional. The second is a password manager, but it only functions for slightly over half of my logins. For years, I've excused Norton, thinking the issues were due to other software. However, after 3-4 years, you would expect the problems to be resolved.

This app is super helpful! I love how it links up with my computer browser to keep all my logins in sync. It's so convenient to use my phone notifications instead of typing in my password every time I need to access my vault. Although occasionally, the notifications are a bit slow on wifi. And sometimes, connecting with certain Android apps can be a bit tricky. Oh, and wouldn't it be cool if the app could warn you about any data breaches linked to your saved accounts?

Oh, there's this amazing app that really makes things easier and safer for me. I can keep all my login details on my phone in a secure way. It helps me stay organized and get to my favorite websites faster. The best part is that it syncs with Norton Password Manager on my computer, making setting up really easy.

So, I had this password set but never wrote it down. My PIN was doing the job just fine. Then, by mistake, I clicked on the password option instead of the PIN. No turning back from there. Only way out was to use the password, then reset the PIN. Called Norton support, they said passwords can't be retrieved. Had to uninstall and reinstall, losing all data. I guess it's super secure, but... won't be using this app again.

The app is not always reliable. It struggles to save passwords when I type them in. I end up having to remember and store the passwords myself, which defeats the app's purpose. Even when I change passwords, the app fails to update and remember them. This includes passwords recommended by Norton. There was one time where I had an incomprehensible password that the app did not retain. Occasionally, it does work but I have not been able to figure out how to make it work reliably.

Oh no! The app is totally broken and I lost all access to my vault. I had to reset it but still can't get in. It suddenly stopped accepting my biometrics and told me to re-enable them in settings. But now I can't log in because it won't accept my password even though I just reset it and copied and pasted it. The phone app just won't take it. No phone app, no vault access. Norton really messed up the app.

I've used Norton Password Manager since 2011. I trust them with my personal data and would recommend it to anyone who wants to secure sensitive information. It's free, so cost isn't an issue. I make sure to keep my subscription updated to ensure all my devices are as secure as a bank vault!
