OBDeleven VAG car diagnostics - Car diagnostics & adjustments

Whenever the app updates, I end up losing functions or can't connect for a few weeks. I've been using this scanner since Obdeleven was new and really liked it, but now I've decided to switch to a standalone unit. It's disappointing to see a company prioritize paid subscriptions over their loyal customers.

My device and pro membership have been a lifesaver, saving at least $2000. Initially tried to save money with XTOOL VAG401 but learned my lesson there! OBDeleven dongle & pro membership pays for itself on the first use. It does customizations, unlocks higher trim level features, retrofits equipment, services, programs keyfobs, and more! The list goes on but can't say more due to the 500 character limit.

The app looks nice and works well with basic code reading but struggles with diagnostics and can only be used on wifi which is inconvenient. It has some bugs and isn't very responsive. Connecting to my car takes 3-5 minutes and pulling basic channel info can take up to a minute. It's okay but not worth paying for the pro version.

This OBD2 device I have, the S24+, is a real pain to use. It just won't connect to my WiFi or cellular network, and keeps saying there's an issue with my connection. But that's strange because I'm online right now without any problem.

This app only works with their device. After I bought it, the device stopped working soon. Their support suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didn't help. Then they said I should get the newer adapter, but it was too expensive for me. I thought the app had a good interface and features, but it's not worth it if the device is faulty. I can't give a positive review because of my experience. Maybe you can try the newer adapter and have better luck than me.

I've used it lots and it works as promised, but connecting to Bluetooth is super slow, sometimes over 15 minutes! I've tried reinstalling the app but no luck. It's frustrating. Also, updating is a pain because it's so slow.

It's a great tool when it works. I haven't been able to connect to it for almost a year now. It requires my location information to connect to a car, which is strange. It used to work perfectly fine before. A friend still uses it on his iPhone, so it might be an issue on Android only. If you manage to make it work, I suggest using it. You can recode options, check different modules and features, watch live OE pids, read faults in whole networks of modules. Hopefully, it starts working again soon.

I spent a lot on the hardware and credits. The settings for my Audi didn't work properly and it caused serious issues. Customer service only gave me enough credits to fix the problem, but they didn't refund or cover the original credits, so I ended up losing my money with no benefit. They promised to notify me when a solution was found, but it's been over a year and I haven't heard anything. This is bad business and the product is unsafe. Be cautious if you plan to buy. Also, I would have to spend even more money to try again.
