ObsIdentify - Identify nature species & share observations.

Discover nature with just a single click! Simply snap a photo in Europe or the Dutch Caribbean and identify the species. Use the app to compile all your wildlife observations. By participating, you can unlock valuable tips for discovering new species, achieve badges, and take part in challenges. Form groups with coworkers, family, or friends to share your amazing nature findings. Your observations, along with others', contribute to biological research and understanding of the natural world. Each observation makes a difference!

How to install ObsIdentify on your iOS device:

1.Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.

2.Once the ObsIdentify is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.

3.If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.

4.After ObsIdentify is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.

5.Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.

ObsIdentify focuses solely on identifying wild animals, plants, and mushrooms in Europe and the Dutch Caribbean. Please refrain from using the app for selfies, people, pets, domestic plants, or garden species.

The image recognition technology in ObsIdentify is powered by the extensive database built from millions of observations contributed by numerous users of Waarneming.nl, Waarnemingen.be, and Observation.org. ObsIdentify is a project of the Observation International Foundation, developed in partnership with the Naturalis Biodiversity Center (The Netherlands) and Natuurpunt (Belgium).
