Add a row or column to a table in Documents
1. Tap in a cell of the table.
2. On the Table tab, tap Insert.
3. Select from the options in the expandable bottom sheet.
Insert Above to add a row just above the cell.
Insert Below to add a row just below the cell.
Insert Left to add a column just to the left of the cell.
Insert Right to add a column just to the right of the cell
Add or remove cell borders
You can add or remove borders to format a table the way that you want.
1. Place the cursor in the cell you want to format.
2. On the Table tab, tap Borders.
3. In the bottom sheet, choose one of the predefined border sets.
Change text direction in a table cell
How to change text orientation in a table cell
1. Place the cursor in the cell whose orientation you want to be changed.
2. Switch to the Table tab.
3. Tap Text Direction. (if you already have an inserted text which orientation you want to change, select it).
4. From the bottom sheet, tap the orientation you want for your text.
5. Start typing.
Optionally, go to the Home tab to apply additional formatting to your text.
Insert a shape in Documents
Insert a shape
1. Open Documents, tap the tabs dropdown and select Insert.
2. Select Shape.
- Swipe the Graphic toolbar to reveal more options.
- To move the inserted shape, tap and drag anywhere in the document.
- To resize the inserted shape, use the adjusting points.
Manipulate shapes or pictures
To move a shape, select, then drag and drop it into position.
To cut or delete a shape, select and tap on it. Tap Cut or Delete on the floating toolbar.
To wrap text around a shape, select it and swipe the toolbar on top to reveal more options. Tap Text Wrap, Graphic options or Layout.
To resize a picture, select it and drag a corner handle, or
select Graphic options in the toolbar.
